Eastern Russia should be considered Pacific

It just makes sense that a person from some city like vladivostok should be in the pacific region, they are infinitely closer to servers in APAC than they are to servers in EMEA, and probably play more with APAC players. Having Eastern Russians fill an import slot just because they were born in a location that's a bit weird geographically for valorant punishes teams for trying to pick up talented players from the area for no real reason

Copium. Pissific suck at fps and they can't develop good players so they need help. Pissific only good 2 teams use gimmicks to stay relevant. If you put p0perrex and drx in EMEA teams would figure them out and they would look like dfm. Prx is only good because they use cringe aggressive style which only works because valorant gunplay isn't good and teams aren't used to it. Same with drx and their cringe set plays. No wonder even brazil and na won a trophy before them

Some eastern Most Russian players always played on Asian servers and were in JP teams from the beginning, even b4 CIS was on hold, Russia being a huge country focus more on its European part, while the Asian part plays on JP/KR servers as the native servers r far away, this ig truly qualifies the player to be part of ASIAN scene

They can just have 2 conferences like MENA does. Spliting a country into 2 regions is logistically impossible because you would then basically be allowing them to pick region just by moving, which is just not fair

This isn’t deciding nationality, just the game region..
Africa players are the A in EMEA. They aren’t European, but they are part of the EMEA region. Just like how far-east Russians (should) be Pacific, because those are the servers they’re closest to

you could make amend the existing rules to let russians to be "region locked" after they play in an official vct game in one region, similar to what we're seeing with players like Russ who have a dual citizenship

I think an idea would be the ability for a player to gain residency after playing t2/t1 in a region for a significant amount of time.

or just make each Russian Player pick their regionality (EMEA/PACIFIC), or force the categorisation based on which region they are currently playing in.

Agree, considering how much of a failure EMEA scouting is, we need to allow East Russia into Pacific so all the talented Eastern Russians playing in JP get their deserved slot in T1.
