OXY arguably has more merit backing him than jakee or runi did.

Losing leaf was a tragedy but OXY could be enough to fill his shoes; it's just a gamble if he can maintain form doing so though.

I don't think this roster will be terrible but I don't think they'll be that good either, especially with vanity igling

He's not dogshit, but he's not disciplined enough to lead a masters worthy team imo. His strats are way too improvised at times.

He's really good at riding momentum though

Bruh what? Shahz > Vanity would make that team a lot better. For starters, Shahz is a far better player than Vanity. Secondly, C9 needs a good Sova player which I'm not sure they have. Also, Shahz already has chemistry with wippie, OXY, and Immi, making it easier to integrate into C9. And in terms of IGLing, what exactly has Vanity done as an IGL? At least Shahz has won a trophy as an IGL.

Bruh there's no way you actually think Vanity is a better player than Shahz. Like all jokes aside, Shahz is fucking miles better mechanically than Vanity. And even if Sova isn't hard meta, he's always still useful, like on Ascent or Haven. I did lowkey forget that he played with wippie and Immi though, but it still doesn't change the fact Vanity's teams since 2022 have been mid.

At least, Shahz has some excuses considering SEN legit fell apart during stage 2 of last year. Literally, vanity is so mid it's crazy, and people want to hate on Shahz like he isn't better than both stellar, and vanity, if not other IGLs too.

The only maps where having a Sova is mostly necessary are Breeze and Ascent(even Ascent C9 has been successful running Skye solo initiator)

You don't need Sova on any other map

Breeze, Haven, Ascent. they dont run sova on haven bc they never had a sova playerm, and if you go look at there recent hasven games runi was running sova

Not that Vanity is bad, but also Shaz has worked with Oxy,Wippie, and Immi before, making it much easier for the roster to get into a flow. But vanity is a friendly guy so im sure it will be fine as well

i would support c9 if they didn’t sign that certified BUM wippie. he is so fucking undeserving of this spot it’s crazy. not only is he toxic but he’s dogshit as well. maybe 13000 more hours and he’ll earn a spot instead of one being gifted to him bc of nepotism. yes i’m hating

My issue with oxy is that he is on c9 because he was on g2 with immi who is now on c9 because of vanity while someone like koalanoob who had an insane season stayed in tier 2

i like the roster, its got the old v1 core and OXY is a pretty good talent. i think it could go pretty far, but we'll have to see how the roster works out
