IGLing isn't an excuse anymore, there are plenty of super solid fraggers that are IGLs as well + he wasn't even micromanaging that much so it shouldn't take away from his production

also, he wasn't great in comparison to the other sentinels players too

Marved was not lowkey mid, he came into a team that was falling apart, as an IGL which he had no choice over, yet performed very well winning crucial rounds to make Sentinels recent tournament runs not so embarrassing. I wouldnt know who id rather have, I think even if they both played smokes they still play the role differently, such as Marved being known for his lurks on Omen and Som known for controlling the game on Astra

sure, even if we be nice and say Marved was good during LCQ and the end of the season, s0m by far had the better season.

I like Jimmy as much as the next guy but optic d-riders gotta get off his meat and respect the facts when other players have clearly better years

s0m > Marved IMO
Marved had really high peaks last year, but even in Champions 22 he didn't look close as impactful iirc and had pretty mediocre 2023. Sentinels was pretty shit whole season long so can't blame him for everything, but s0m often looked like the best player on NRG and was really impactful for what I remember.
