First of all you didn't even explain to me (you were talking to @mrGoudas).

Now, about the IGLing part:
I'm not even a fan of Marved but I really have to explain you why his very mid performance when playing for SEN was because of him taking the IGL role.

When Marved wasn't igling (because dephh was) his performance was excellent:

His only bad game was against EG, the current World Champions, who were also in hot form back then.

It was only after he was forced to IGL that his performance worsened. And it wasn't even that bad, he was usually placing in the middle of the scoreboard.

Now to answer your question about the correlation between igling and aiming:
The most important factor of igling that worsens someone's aim is the constant checking of the minimap. The amount of times players aren't focused on their crosshair placement because they are looking at their minimap and as a result they take an unfavored gunfight and they die is absurd (you can probably relate too). And if you say a pro player shouldn't be making these rookie mistakes, I will inform you that improvement comes with experience. And Marved was THE DEFINITION of an inexperienced IGL (it was his first ever time being an IGL and that was in VCT). Other IGLs are much more experienced and therefore they don't make such mistakes, which results in them performing up to their level.

But I would honestly like to hear who are those "super solid fraggers" IGLs you are talking about.
The grand majority of great IGLs are not at all like what you described: FNS, Saadhak, Boaster, Haodong (since you are an EDG fan you should know) and many others are usually bottom-fragging.
The only world class IGL who is both good on his role and a good fragger that comes to my mind is Boostio, but even he was the worst rated member of EG at Champions LA.

PS: I agree with you that s0m looked better than Marved this year, but your IGL argument is just nonsense...

I did, in fact, read all of that. You by all means bring up so extremely relevant points.

I was primarily referring to Boostio and stax, two players which come to mind as having excellent aim while still having to call for teams with extremely nuanced playbooks. I feel that in general the trend towards IGLs bottom fragging is less necessarily because their aim takes a massive hit when they are calling, but more towards the fact that their raw aim just wasn't necessarily that good in the first place but they were still valuable enough to be on a team because of their gamesense and comms, etc.

I think Marved also did a bit of calling on Optic and Faze, two of his previous teams, and learnt a lot under FNS so I don't think it's very fair to say that he's completely new to the IGL role. Also, from what I remember of Marved's gameplay it was less crosshair placement and more just quite crappy sprays towards the end of the season. He also said himself that he's a more chill IGL, ie. less micromanaging (as I referenced earlier) so I don't think that his fragging should take as much of a hit.
