Astra tips?

I know the basics but any tips?

You just got to catch them off guard by sucking them

defense - a star on each choke, with another just outside the site you're defending for a suck if they exec. this leaves one star for reaction plays

attack - smoke defender entrances, suck/stun common spots on an exec get box on A Haven or dice A Ascent. Abuse fake smokes especially for taking space and crossing sightlines. honestly just figure out where your team is taking and figure out what util you can use to help them out best

best tip is always try to have one star on you at a time tho, never place them all down at once so you dont over invest into a plan that might not work

dont forget astra have 4 jett smokes

shoot heads

place 4 smokes in a line and then fake smoke all of them and run into site with the bomb

Always have 1 star as backup
Also retrieve the stars in useless positions asap before you go for retake

try not to get knife

be proactive with stars if you see people rushing a site try to chuck a star down and suck/stun quickly instead of trying to preplace

also tell your team to tell you for smokes, and if they dont they use intuition to time smokes, especially on defence

Be good at sucking

Soloq comms aren't good and often late so you should just preplace ur stars ar important places on defense

die instantly so that your team learns to play without smokes

For defence the best strat is to hold a site and play a star at a choke point and one right in front of it. When they are about to push out, smoke the first star then suck or stun the next. Then spray the smoke and get free kill and play for retake or hold down the site if you want.

place 2-3 stars at choke of the site you are playing and keep a star as backup
i usually place two star at the choke of site im anchoring and other two for controlling other parts of the map
abuse fake smokes
use pull with combination of dmging utils

Ask ur teammates for pull if they don't come to ur site.
Try to abuse smoke pull back for catching them off guard.
Use stun/pull for site take.
Ofcourse use one star for pull during post plant.
