The ACTUAL top 20 players list

caveat: idgaf if this is off season, i had things to get off my chest, this is written mainly for myself to write down my thoughts, all the accumulated emotions and thoughts this year, also i mostly dont give a fuck about achievements as much as I do about player's perceived potential, performance quality and
the quality of competition and what they contributed in what ways to what, contextualized stats + eye test in-game, achievements
are also not snubbed though, just that I am skeptical of some who ride on the coattail of their teammates and benevolent
to those who are let down by their team, some of them are really close to each other in pure skills and thus validly interchangeable in any
order you prefer depending on your mood criteria form horniness whatever the fuck

1> Demon1 - Listen, I hate recency glaze just as much as the next sensible guy. But I'm gonna have to go out on a limb and put Demon1 as the best player in the world anyhow. It's not just the fact that he earned his ridiculous stats on such a massive sample size of games, but he did it while flexing smokes and shit, proving himself the best rifler on the planet with his CS f0rsaken-esque headshot %. In the meantime, he casually OP diff'd the guy who had made OP his whole personality like it was just any regular day, and he "doesn't even like the OP." I am a massive stats skeptic but seeing this guy with my own eyes convinced me of his godlike and ungodly at the same time
mechanics.

2> Less - I fear LOUD only because of Less as a FNATIC fan. LOUD is synonymous with Less and that's where it earns its massive detterance power in my eyes and why I keep praying every night that FNATIC doesn't get matched up with LOUD. He has never dropped from my top 2 mental list, like EVER. I find this guy's mechanics obscene and absolutely perverted.' My heart just jumps every time my favorite teams have to face LOUD which is just a metonym for Less for me personally.

2> Leo - It was a massive fortune to discover this gem even before FNATIC had signed him. Seeing him being whispered into best flexers conversation alongside Chronicle. The next thing I know about him is that he destroys my M3C while seeming immortal. He was my secret best player in the world at the time in my secret heart and fancy.
Godlike gamesense and utility usage. Saadhak really says it all "I wanna be Leo" (in his stream) and yay had him as the best player itw coming into Champions.

2> Alfa - The world isn't fair, this prodigy is born with the talent to drop anyone left, right and centre. This guy isn't a Sentinel, he carries the duelist role with him. His aim really doesn't lose out to anyone. This guy can give Less the run for his money and why it wasn't a far-fetched assumption to compare him with Less, who we know is a
primordial raid boss since time immemorial.

5> Aspas - MVP of Champions. He's been the best duelist in the world since the dawn of time when humanity first shambled out of apedom, our ancestors, and he'll remain so now and forevermore. Aspas is my only king. His and Demon1's Jett are different, in the literal sense. They are tailored for him. What movement and aim, fuck, and fuck me, Aspas!

6> Ethan - If an angel came down from heaven and asked me what I want, I'd say Ethan's supporting skills. This guy is the guy I want besides Demon1 when aliens invade the Earth

8> c0m - call me recency biaser but fuck you, c0m's lurk impact and clutch and supporting gets me hard, it's my favorite fap material before the next master c0ms baby oh yes, my ranked teammates are mad at me for going AFK in-game just so I can see where c0m positions himself and when and where and how he lurks, I'm Bronze 3 now and suspended for toxicity)

8> JAWGEMO - she jaw on my demon1 till I c0m, it's not a strange opinion when someone says jawgemo was the actual MVP, his performance merits him that claim, with jett nerf we might see more of dawg Raze c0mming over everyone in his path)

8> f0rsaken - this guy just does it all, it's not just agent pool, with him it's agent ocean, and can frag when he's really on.

8> d4v4i - emerged as a leader and he has also started entering our radar with his underrated fantastic performance, if you don't have d4v4i in your top 10 list then I must question whether you are living in the past.

11> JINGG - heartbroken over the situation, he entry blazed and fragged out of his mind for all of us, sad we won't
get to see him cause chaos in a meta more suitable for Raze next...

11> Mako - controversial but idgaf been following and stalking this guy since he was in his mother's womb in the hospital, Mako by his pure merit and individual brilliance is a headache for any player on this list, this guy's second name is consistency, just champions was a let down, but his potential is undeniable that nothing takes it away, Mako has to underperform more to annul his performance so far overall.

13> zmjjkk - highest op kills at the tournament, his potential is high as the sky itself, genuinely terrifying when he's on

14> Derke - top 20.5 player, but fr he's been consistent for the longest time and a nominee for the best duelist at most points in VLR history, however it'd be a lie to say that he was neck to neck with Alfa and Leo in his team

14> something - his potential is easily up there with the best of duelists, he broke records after records, even his own, in pro matches, rated him below zmjjkk as I believe zmjjkk has been more impressive on international

14> mindfreak - clutch master, mr. consistent of PRX, it's not crazy to hail him as the best smoker on this planet currently, his assists are nauseating for the enemy team and he also tends to frag the freak out of everyone

17> Chronicle - i'm gonna get crucified for this but as accomplished and celebrated and decorated Chronicle is, Alfa and Leo are the real anchors of FNC, outside champs which was an unspeakable disaster, Chronicle had a really impressive year nonetheless, and yes I know he's a very historical player and I have been following him as long as he has been competing, being M3C stan

17> Cauanzin - he proved himself as a rookie and maybe the next less in the making, glad to see the spotlight on him after his performance

18> s0m - he dragged the cold, dead body of NRG, including weighty and epic proportionate Ardiis, on his back and sadly crumbled, but not without a fight did he go down, impressing us all

19> Suygetsu - I'm still head over heels over his perfect aim, recoil reset and clearing angles which he "sometimes" manifests, watched a video of him out there and tried to copy his movements

19> Cloud - i feel the same situation with Leo in the past, very promising initiator, seriously I've been watching this guy since obscure EMEA matches

19> zekken - yes!, wipe that surprise off your face, divorcing him frm his team's achivements, I am supremely impressed with zekken's skill and potential, not that big of a fan of achievements personally as much as I am how the players performed and contributed to what they achieved and how they dealt in-game

i was having fun at the waterslide when suddenly i noticed a big shadow covering the entire pool i looked up and there i saw him, Ardiis. He was coming straight for me, he jumped into the pool and the velocity of the wave that followed knocked me unconcious.

When i woke up i was chained in a cold and dirty room and there he was, streaming the popular shooter game VALORANT on Twitch while talking to his chat, somehow he managed to say the word "bro" 254 times in just 3 sentences how is that even possible?? I quickly realised that the chains were actually made of chocolate, confused (and mainly hungry) i started licking and sucking them as fast as i could and managed to crawl out of the room -that i presumed was probably his mothers basement- while remaining unseen.

I searched around the house for an exit and i quickly found the front door. As soon as i exited the building i saw a horde of angry Brazilians holding blowtorches and pitchforks chanting at ardiis and calling him a racist and a loser. I didn't really care so i tried to get out of the scene as soon as possible but just as i was about to step out of the house, ardiis put his enormous hand on my shoulder and whispered with a soft and melodic tone in my ear "You're not going anywhere pumpkin pie" and "Daddy's gonna take care of this swifly". He stepped out of the house and suddenly yelled "WATCH THIS" as he flamboyantly dashed into the air and suddenly made 5 knives materialise around him. He used the knives to effortlessly tap every single brazilian in the area.

I was so afraid, blood was spilled everywhere. When it all was over ardiis looked in my direction and i knew that it was over, if they didnt stand a chance, then i wouldnt either, so i just gave up. Ardiis started walking
in my direction each step making the ground shake. When he got to me he just sat down on me saying that i got cold and he needed to warm me up. After a while he took me inside the smelly basement again and took his clothes off. He started smelling me and licking my ear, and then he suddenly got very embarrased and told me i can just leave.

Turns out that this was a huge misunderstanding, this whole time he thought that i was a chocolate egg and he wanted to eat me. The disappointment on his face when he realized the mistake he had done was palpable, a tangible testament to the depth of his sorrow.

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>

let me re-word it so your rotting brain can understand.

I do not think 4 Evil Geniuses players should be considered to be in the top 10 best players in the world. My reasoning for this is because individually EG are not very good, this showed during lock//in and in the americas regular season as they barely even made it to playoffs and they lost their first 4 games. None of these players were considered to be good players at all apart from Ethan when he was on CS. To rank a player in the top 10 they need to do their job at the highest level whilst being consistently good and putting up great stats, you also need to be playing with your teammates and being very good in all areas. When you watch EG you can see that they use lots of set strategies that they planned before the game and had a ton of preparation, probably the most anti-strating out of any team. This is why they win and it's not because they all have insane aim or they all just know how to have very good util and are consistently good. The only execptions to this are Demon1 and Ethan as they are very good individual players which is what this is being ranked on.

This list looks more like a team performance list than a player list.

watch the finals or whichever game again and look at how many times he won a 50/50 aim duel. Almost all of their aim duels are in their favour slightly, the reason for this is because of the preperation involved and not aim. Boostio does have decent aim though but not top 10 best player level aim.

Demon1 should be 2. Alfajer had an insane year, carried an already individually stacked roster, only stumbled in a few matches at Champs

Ethan has to be top5 for me - his utility has been consistently the BEST flex ITW the entire season. His stats don't lie, and the degree of composure he brings to the team cannot be understated

I'm surprised you have Boostio above c0m - why is that?

EDIT: Just saw you said currently - then Demon1 is #1 simply based on a dominant tournament, same conclusions otherwise

no. This is based on individual skill. EG's players are not individually skilled apart from demon1 and ethan. The players are just following the set plays and strategies that potter and boostio make and design, then if they work you are calling people like c0m and jawgemo top 10 players. Be for real.
