I took into consideration the level of the competition and the agent that they played. Obviously playing an ultra broken agent like Chamber and pre-nerf Jett will skew your stats heavily.

NAVI Shao - Was it ever in doubt? Putting up some of the best, if not the best stats we have ever seen and doing it all on support character with amazing util. To put the cherry on top of the cake, he was by FAR the most clutch player to this date.
FNC Leo - So close to Shao. Better util but not the same fragging ability. He has the best util i have ever seen and on top of that, he in my opinion, is the player with the highest gamesense of all time.
FNC Alfajer - Might be controversial to put him ahead of Yay, but he's putting up better stats without super broken agents liie pre-nerf Jett and pre-nerf Chamber. Imo he is the best player itw currently. Could make a very good case for him to be 2.
Optic Yay - He was undoubtedly the best player in the world, but then again so was everyone else on this list. The only thing knocking him back to 4 for me is the fact that he played on super broken agents. I know i will get hate for putting him at 4, but he didn't have to worry about util, and because of the agents he played, he could take some stupid fights and escape to safety because of Jett/Chamber. Still one of the GOATs 🙏
Team Liquid nAts - Again, you can make a case for nAts to be 1,2,3 or 4. The only thing knocking him back to 5 for me is that when he was in his prime, the competition wasn't as good, as it currently is. Shaped the game, defined metas. Imo he is probably the 2nd best player of all time. His longevity is incredible, that's why on the all time i list, i'd put him above Yay, but as this is just peaks, i moved Yay to 4 ahead of him.

Honorable mentions: Chronicle (the 🐐), cNed, Derke, scoreboard checker, Suygetsu, Aspas, TenZ (comp wasn't good at his peak) and Mako

i didn't meant copenhagen yay u assumed that ,yay's peak was prolly at champions and chamber got a Nerf to by then (not hard nerfed but i remembered he got nerfed before champions) and shao could have played chamber too but he simply didn't play it (and yay was best player on most broken agent for entire year idk why you think his peak wasn't best ,there were other chambers too he was just best at it)

Derke was unanimously the second best player itw off of sentinels and tenz went 19-2 in FK against him in GF. +17 against the next best team in FK in the GF is absolutely nuts considering the biggest FK gap in tokyo GF was +8 by demon1. People take away from tenz because he was so much better than everyone else at the time it makes no sense.. Alfa is doing the same thing rn on an even better team but nobody takes shit away from him despite the fnatic gap being far larger than the sen gap

yeah 2021 iceland valorant esports was just overall god awful which is the only reason it happened but TenZ at that tournament has never been matched on impact

single-handedly carried the entire tournament more than any other player has and managed to just completely own derke in the grand final, which honestly they may well have lost 3-0 if he didn't pop off so hard
