Possible reason why eu val fell off?

Maybe because the best tier 1 prospects choose cs instead of valorant? you are free to argue if eu val has fallen off, but because cs remains more popular, val simply doesn't have such a huge source of talent there, like apac or china or americas?

still the best region of all time
5 : 5 : 2 : 1 in trophies
wins the H2H in SERIES and MAPS against every single region

idc what any dumass without solid stats says

When was the last time EMEA won an event?

when was the last time AMERICAS won an event

and also, in the past 3 finals, EU has been there 2 times while AMERICAS once. SO LOOK AT AMERICAS, not EMEA

america has a different problem, the talent is separated among different teams

delusional
not all trophies are equal.
Americas: 2 champs, 3 masters
EMEA: 1 champs, 3 masters, 1 Mickey Mouse cup

half of emea trophies come from prehistoric times too

Because france fell off in both Cs and Val (I was never a big thing in val anyway but you get what I mean) resulting in a big loss of potential great players

I mean finally there is a french team which is like tier 1.5, 3dmax (maybe possibly going to gentle mates), but I feel like they are a few big guns away from becoming tier 1

3dmax is promising. (there's at least talent there)

I mean eu cs hasn't lost a single S-tier pro to valorant, meanwhile NA CS got massacred

I disagree, will come back to this post ,if I remember you after they win a tournament this year

I mean the trend shows that EMEA is not good enough to win internationally anymore. Playoffs are good, but winning events is what matters

Trend is the worst tool to measure any stat in Valorant (other than comps)

disagree, if for 1.5 years you haven't won a single international, then I would say you got worse compared to other regions

See I agree they didn't won a tournament

But it's not like they were getting smacked like CN other than EDG

Th came #2 in back to back GF

LA was bit unlucky for FNATIC as they have to face their kryptonite twice ( They didn't deserve to win but a slightly better seed and FNATIC would have clean sweeped 2023)

Madrid and Bangkok is quite similar when they have young teams and they crumbled under pressure

They are still top contenders and not like CN #2-3 seed where fell off is quite visible)

Moreover AMERICAS #2 SEED SEN LOST TO TL #2 SEED of EMEA
So the competition is super close

I think stats sometimes don't give the whole overview

Every region is close in term of level, if you want to raise an alarm, raise the alarm in SEA that is getting worst every split and see the premier number diminish

I don't think any region is screwed as of yet, both americas and emea have been historically great. and we are in the middle of the apac and china era right now.
