So in conclusion I feel like som deserves a better team

s0m was literally their most consistent player since the beginning of America's league. Blaming him for a loss at Masters, when he was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) reason they got to Masters in the first place is braindead

Imagine if som left nrg and went to sentinels in the current double controller meta they would be unstoppable the only problem is zekken is playing great and tenz was starting too play good as well in last few matches of Americas league and realistically speaking they would be the only 2 they could replace given the roles and such

Low key I feel like he might make eg better if demon1 keeps performing to the low level he has been replace demon1 with som and move jawgemo back to duelist I feel like they might be better as he is the 1 that is actually holding them back at the moment so if demon1 continues to underperform it might actually be a good move

Not the best team in the world? We need better aimers!

NRG will be fine. They looked off, s0m looked great.

Maybe at Champs crashies will be the one to really step up and s0m will perform average. It's about who (hopefully all) are really hitting on match day.

I'd be disappointed if this roster changed at all for next year, even ardiis.

What's the point of an IGL that can't shoot, midround, or adapt.

Whole team has been built to cover up his shortcomings, if they drop him for a real 5th, they could actually be the best team in the world.

I dont understand why everyone trying to replace a pure IGL on a great team just because they think "they still need more firepower."

I think the moment fnatic drop boaster/optic drop fns or any team drop their IGL who with them from the start, they gonna start falling off.

Even in csgo, a team filled with 5 great firepower still doesnt guarantee anything.

what team is better lol? NRG made top 4 so you can only make an argument for 3 other teams, PRX doesn’t mesh well with s0ms play style, FNC don’t need s0m, and perhaps EG? but EG already have a system that’s working and adding s0m would falter the progress. NRG is the best team for him, they just need more time and to be less sloppy and they are trophy contenders lol

I dont know why NA like to make changes when they dont need it NRG just need to figure their best comps for all maps and they will do good in champions some few adjustments and they are contenders in my opinion.

exactly, this is what happened to sentinels, extremely talented roster, too many changes = little to no comfort and experience with each other, too little time to develop a unique play style and strats. hope everything looks cleaner by Champs

While s0m is definitely a strong player, you are also largely defined by how you perform in clutch situations.

This was a huge misplay from s0m. Put 10 other players in the same situation and I’d be curious to see how many make the same misplay.

But that’s not what I’m saying, I’m saying they would never have even gotten to overtime without som and in that very same round he is the reason it even came down to a 1v1 as well yes he made a misplay but if his team was playing better and not relying on him soo much it would not of even gotten to ot so that would not of happened

Yes I agree, but the fact is it was still a huge misplay on s0m’s part in a critical moment.

If you get 4 kills in a round, but then grief the last kill and up losing the round, you can’t blame your teammates for losing it.

Crashies and Victor seem to have run out of “juice” it’s weird cuz we know how good they can be, they just… don’t? Kinda like if someone broke usain bolts legs

Their experience is part of what makes them so calm and methodical in how they practice and execute their plans

But it also means that they are mechanically not all there as much as a lot of the scene's younger players

Top level IGLs prove their value by their capability to withstand and change the meta. I believe FNS can survive in the scene, his value is his mind, and his aim is getting gradually better which is great for him, the problem is that he will need to replace his teammates eventually and gradually, since their value relies on aim

He is the most consistent in the team for sure. I can't remember a single bad game from him since Lock in. That last game is literally the only time when he received criticism for his performance. Before that no one was dare to say "Wtf was he doing?" if you know what I mean lolz. I'm really frustrated for Vic, Ardiis and Crashies performance this event though. I hope they step it up in champs. I'm sure they can be way better than this.
