Agree. I think people vastly overrate the distance between tier 2 and tier 1 competition in NA.

C9 is good when their mental is good. As soon as they lost to EG things just went downhill. The team is too young.

so anyone not in franchise is automatically not world class according to u
demon1 wasn't a franchise starter for half the season, that doesn't mean he's not world class

Agree. DSG was a mess anyways, having yay or not having yay wouldn't have changed anything.
DSG was not good and they did a poor job setting him up, that's a fact. The thing is that the few opportunities that he had to impact a round, he whiffed.
I don't disagree, but not gonna clown him for having one bad event for the first time in years.
If the problem persists when he returns to Tier 1, then yeah, he probably is washed.
I think he could cook on sentinel or controller role. I don’t know if he could compete with the more explosive and aggressive jetts
fr, they should put him on sentinel or something, he can still awp pretty effectively on KJ and I think if a team picks him up they'd be inclined to use chamber more after his buff and his skill with awp

yay could definitely be good with a team that sets him up better but i think he should become a sentinel player
Judging by current performance, he isnt a world class player anymore. I know DSG is total shit, but he aint perform like he used to either.
But knowing him, when he find a right team with a good structure, he can easily back to his old form and be a world class player again.
With all the DSG problems it's unfair to blame it on Yay's performance. He's a great talent, but look at Ardiis. Similar playstyles, but one has a crazy good core to support them. I think Yay would be plug-and-play equal to Ardiis or Cryo in their situations. Leaf, Demon1, and Tenz are much more aggressive than Yay has ever been comfortable being, they're just a whole different style.
Plus in Franchising you don't get as bombarded as NA T2. Like, the dives in Franchising compared to NA T2 is like comparing a wave to a tsunami. That's why NA T2 looks like a mess, because it IS a mess. It's really hard for passive opers like yay to do well.
Not enough fair data on him in the franchise era to judge if hes washed or still world class on Jett
