It's like a professial boxer against a man so high on crack he can't feel pain anymore.
Hasn't played a top team yet. Next 3 or 4 matches will be will be interesting to see if they can keep this up.
Teams EG have beaten this year include NRG, Cloud9, LOUD, Liquid, PRX, EDG, FUT, and DRX
I think they're fine.
Dapr is the OG. Wish he was back in Tier 1.
Only rule is you can't choose any players from champions.
Do you think they'd beat Fnatic, PRX, Loud, etc?
Don't care. Valorant will make up for it in the Chinese market.
I think it's just a bit of a matchup nightmare for EDG.
Demon and Jawg have been an insane one two punch for them. Ethan has some of the cleanest util usage in the game. And if boostio and come keep fragging, it's hard to see it going any other way.
But this is especially telling when you look at the map veto. EDG love fracture, however EG is the most dominant fracture team in the world. Looking at the rest of EDG's map pool, EG has them beat on everything but Lotus.
One of these players is the all time kill leader at valorant internationals, and Cned isn't it.
Liquid won the EMEA league and went 0-2 just like kru.
It's more an annoyance.
EMEA has too many good players to be this mid. Fnatic gifting free slots doesn't help either.
Really want to see valorant remain competitive, and it's on the verge on not being so.
I mean you try to claim Fnatics achievement lol.
GGs though. Hopefully you guys bounce back next year.
At least you guys beat Liquid.
Eat your crow buddy and hide behind fnatic like you've had to do all season.
NAVI finished the season with a 4-9 stretch. They kinda suck right now.
Funny, they placed the same as Team Liquid.
They keep throwing any time they get ahead.
They won the games 26-10 in rounds. That's not luck, that's an a** whooping.
TL finishes 1-5 in international events this year. Team was overrated all year.
I'm more frustrated than anything. Used to be, you feared if you had to play any EMEA teams not named G2. Now they can't even make it past the starting line.
It means, you only have 1 good team. In EMEA's case legendary.
No other EMEA team will sniff top 3 though. 3/4 Americas and 2/4 Pacific have the potential to make a top 3 run.
This isn't a dig on EMEA's talent. More of a dig on the fact that the region that has failed to make competitive rosters when they have the talent.
Does no one understand what a "1 team region" means
NAVI is 4-8 in their last 12 games. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
They had one good run in EMEA playoffs and that's it. If they lose this they'll be 1-5 in Internationals this year after being considered contenders in all 3 events.
Hopefully they get rid of the extra slots BS. Hell if you want to do that, have some playin games before the official event.
This is literally what Loud was doing in America's League. They're so good at this map and this comp.
Barring Fnatic tbf. Also that was in lockin when the comp was in its infancy (And Furia took them to OT in that game)
Imo he is too feast or famine. If his consistency improves, then he could be a top duelist.
Derke, Aspas, Sayf, Something, Jingg, Demon1, zekken, Kang Kang, and Keznit are currently better.
I'd put him in the "on the bubble" Tier with
Sayaplayer, Cryo, dgzin, Cned, fit1nho, and Laz.
Would like to mention Zyppan too. His Raze is as good as anybodies. Smoggy also has shown to be a very capable duelist.
EMEA only stands a chance because of Fnatic. There's realistically only 3 teams that actually have the potential to win this event.
FNATIC, PRX, and EG.
However DRX, LOUD, and NRG have proven they can as well.
NAVI maybe too, but not adding them until they are in playoffs.
Realistically, Kru were big underdogs coming into this game, and this group. The real question is how they build from here.
They haven't lost a group stage game since Copenhagen before this one. I think they'll be alright.
DRX looked like they were on a heater too. Trying to beat those fraud allegations.
What time does mwzera play?
DRX's three losses in Group Stages are:
FNATIC (1-2) Champs 2021
Cloud9 (1-2) Champs 2021
Evil Geniuses (0-2) Masters Tokyo
DRX's win continues their streak of never losing an opening match at a Masters/Champs Event
VS 2-1 NUTURN (Masters 1 Korea 2021)
VS 2-0 Paper Rex (Masters 3 2021)
VS 2-0 Full Sense (Champions 2021)
DRX 2-0 ZETA (Masters 1 2022)
DRX 2-0 Northeption (Masters 2 2022)
DRX 2-0 Furia (Champs 2022)
DRX 2-1 BBL (Lock//In)
DRX 2-0 Attacking Soul (Masters 1 2023)
DRX 2-1 LOUD (Champs 2023)
They are currently 16-3 in group stages at these events as well.
1-4 in international events this year. Highly overrated team.
Liquid just can't perform in internationals.
You're really gonna use an EMEA vs. EMEA game to say this? Especially when both teams are looking pretty shaky.
A female only team probably would fail, but there at certainly female players good enough to play in the main league.
Yay vs Gambit with the Marshall is his best highlight.
Basically
2021 EMEA >> NA
2022 NA > EMEA
2023 FNATIC >>>> NA >>>>>>>>>>>> Rest of EMEA
NRG/Optic finishes:
DNP, 2nd, 9th, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 5th, 4th
Team Liquid finishes:
4th, DNP, 3rd, 7th, DNP, 7th, 17th, 5th
Cast stones, glass house, blah blah blah.
You've been talking nothing but Ls since you defended pancc and ntk.
