Untrue. We are one of the modern nations with the clearest haplogroup. We're definitely not either of those, we have nothing in common.
As for Turks, they come from the steps, they're technically mongoloid and even though they are very well mixed with Greek people (hence they have majority Greek DNA) they do actually sometimes resemble Asian characteristics.
