Yeah because chronicle was sick they haven’t shown any new strats the entire vct emea they were saving strats the entire time derke, Leo and boaster were also having off days and the emea grand final was pretty much the most meaningless game the entire split as the only thing it decided was who gets the trophy and a little extra money as both emea 1st and 2nd place gets to automatically to playoffs in tokyo whereas drx now have to go through groups because they lost to prx the drx vs prx match actually has stakes whereas the fnatic vs team liquid 1 didn’t
Because they barely won a close series where all their players were on form and using a lot of their strats in order to win while 3 of fnatics players were having off days derke, Leo and boaster while chronicle was sick so he was having possibly the worst series of his career and the 1 players who was playing at his normal level alfajer was by far the best player in that series if only 1 fnatic player out of 5 is performing to his normal level and all the liquid players are in top form and the series was close liquid aren’t at that level to be competing for an international cross region trophy yet plus fnatic haven’t shown anything new the entire vct emea or at least very little new and despite that the maps were 13-11 to fnatic then 14-12 13-6 and 13-11 to liquid if they can only beta fnatic comfortably on 1 map with fnatic playing the way they were playing they aren’t at the level to compete with a fully serious fnatic and loud yet
