VCT 2022 will be a banger

VCT champions 2021 will just be a taste of how insane VCT 2022 is gonna be imo. I see masters being better than the first champions beacuse of those reasons.

-most likely 24 teams
-more regions
-more accurate region distribution
-china joins VCT
-Sout asia is upcoming and probably gonna get 1 play-in spot

• NA probably gonna get one more spot, aswell as EMEA
  -game will be more developed, stable and people are gonna be more cracked
  -crowds, honestly this is the biggest point
  -champions 2022 will be more fair since masters points distribution will be better most likely
  -game changers (women part of VCT) could go international

Ideas:
-game changers winner getting a spot in play-ins
-masters winner getting one more slot for there region for next stage
-leagues instead of tournaments in for example NA since its the most developed (qualifier where 10 teams advance, 3 weekends with 3 Bo3s for evrry team. 4th weekend playoffs where top 8 play for a spot at masters while bottom 2 fall out of league and have to requalify for next season)

This would make the qualifying teams much more consistent so we get top tier competition at masters also it wouldnt be like rn where u cant see teams that qualified first try for 4 weeks. In total the time would be the same but like i said, it would be more fair and healthier for the scene, also allows them to franchise the league without only having 2 international tournaments a year.

• 4 NA
• 4 EMEA
• 3 brazil
• 2 china
• 1 south asia
• 2 korea
• 3 SEA
• 1 OCE
• 1 LATAM
• 2 Japan
• +1 for the region that won previous masters/champions for year one

Overall i think valorant will be one of the most hyped esports in 2022, probably pöace 2 after league of legends. I bet they will break 2mil peak viewers and playerbase will skyrocket.

VCT 2022 will be the real shit, VCT 2021 will look like a tier 2 championsship in comparising

EDIT: u could also put LATAM and BR together and give them 3 so you can give the extra slot to Korea

It'll be very hyped. But I don't think it'll break records yet. The reason being that. It's still growing. And it will be for a while. I think in 2023 it'll start becoming incredibly large.

But to have 24 teams is just too much, I think they will stay 16 but the distribution will be like

3 NA
2 SA/LATAM (BR included there)
3 EU (Turk still in EU)
2 CIS
3 KR+JPN
2 SEA
+1 for the region that won previous masters / previous champions winner if it first VCT

The reason was because I don't think RIOT will make separate region for South Asia, China, and OCE alone for VCT yet
And max for each region is 3, to not repeat the berlin EMEA seed.
Lastly BR+LATAM and KR+JPN will be combined for better match.

as long as Riot doesn't go Overwatch mode and completely destroy the professional scene, I think valorant esports will continue to grow, its already one of the biggest fps games right now and that's when the game is in its youth, just imagine as the game grows in popularity in places like China. As a csgo fan, I honestly think that valorant has the potential to be the quintessential fps game of this generation. It's visually exciting and can be viewed by both a casual viewer who wants to see some exciting gameplay and also the hardcore fan that wants to see strategic and coordinated team play. Plus all the biggest streamers and orgs in the world are investing in valorant, and all the kids who watch them are going to grow up watching their favorite streamers playing valorant. And as pc gaming gets more and more popular and as other fps games like Call of Duty and Overwatch are on the decline, this is the perfect storm for the success of valorant.

Just make BR and LATAM one server, a lot of boludos play in brazilian server already because the level is higher and more oportunities (also more servers in Brazil, North and Northeast players are Always with 70ms+ and south and southeast players 20-, its unfair)

24 teams would be big. Top regions could go straight to groups and smaller regions have to go through Play-ins.
I would do:

• 5 EMEA (Add MENA to EMEA)
• 4 NA
• 3 South America ( Combine LATAM + Brazil)
• 3 KR (Similar ability to Brazil despite low player base)
• 3 SEA (Growing region that will for sure improve)
• 2 CH (May need more as i feel China could become massive and dominate Asia)
• 2 JP (Growing region that will for sure improve)
• 1 OCE
• 1 South Asia (Growing region that will for sure improve)

Master potential format:

• Same group format as berlin but top 2 NA + EMEA, 1st place BR,KR,CH,SEA go straight to groups
• rest have to qual through Play-inns - two double 8 team brackets where top 4 qual
• b05 in semis as well as finals for playoffs

They should have defined slots for masters + LCQs but for Champions they should create a new point system on Masters where they reward the regions which have been placing better giving them more slots with a minimum of 1 slot per region. So if NA teams, for example, manages to consistently place high at Masters, this should give points for the region, consequently, leading to proportionally to their performance more slots at Champions.

Dude 1 Latam is not enough. You are already giving 3 to BR and 2 to JP while only giving one to Latam brothers. They might deserve it and also will help to improve the level of the region faster.

If 24 teams at "Worlds" then you might have to make a play-ins before main stage.
