I feel like most people here started back in beta but idk.
I started right when T1 was becoming shitter about a few weeks before the faze invitational.

i played val pretty early but only watched pro play after tenz joined sentinels since all my friends were going crazy about it for some reason
i started playing valorant day 1 of beta but didint watch esports until the main event of first strike NA
first strike brazil, after that I watched all brazilian and international championships. Last year I started to follow the NA and EU championships more closely
Yes, I understand why trenbolona loved mwzera so much, at that time he played valorant 2
yeah, that finals was the match I learned about the Doctrine of the Hero MWZera. I was cheering for paiN because their my fav team in LoL and MW crushed them.
I used a vpn to play the beta
First match I watched was some fish123 match
First time I got into the scene was through platchat for the reykjavik 2021
shit was crazy first day i watch a match NA gets reverse sweeped in grand final
When
T1 Crashies (Best Cypher in the world at that time)
T1 Food (Victor)
T1 AZK
T1 Brax (1st player ever to be signed to a Val Org)
T1 Skadoodle
and
TSM Wardell (Pioneer of Op/Jett)
TSM Subroza
TSM Drone (Phoenix Phantom GOAT)
TSM Reltuc
TSM Hazed
existed.
For context: 2020
Radiant rank was called "Valorant" back then lmfao
T1 fell off once tsm was signed bro. I also remember back in the days of double sentinel with the skadoodle sage op but then wardell and tenz started playing jett to op which was so crazy. Double and triple ops everywhere val was too crazy back then.
Its crazy to me how i didnt know anything about asian valorant and now I catch some games regularly on the mornings. International tourneys are crazy
used to watch on and off since scream announced his switch from cs. left the comm for a while, now i watch more NA val cause i follow a lot of NA twitch streamers.
Since Prodigy Agency was formed with Scream, Mixwell and Dafran (before he got expelled) so around May 2020
T1 invitational. Pretty sure it was the first mainstream tournament in Valorant. After that I only ever watched 100T games when nitr0 joined up until The Guard’s Stage 1 run in 2022.
watched every now and then around the time post reykjavik 2021, only started following consistently around champs 2021 and onward
Before Reykjavík 2021, I've watched some of tournament in NA. After that I've watched regularly and across region which has English broadcast...
First ever match was Envy vs Dignitas coz i was bored and i saw it on my twitter tl
I watched first strike NA but i never watched anything else up until masters reyjkavik
aftr reyjkavik i started watching religiously
From the start really, I remember watching Sen and they winning everything.
Also remember an interview where Zombs complains that they only interviewed him because no one else in the team wanted to be interviewed lol
Envy vs Sentinels Iceland 2021, rooted for envy after that, crazy to think how that core went to optic and now nrg

first game i watched
T1 super team I think. With brax, ska, ibp players. Hiko with pubg guys, tsm dominated NA scene for couple months. EU scene didnt pop off that time, some OW guys like dafran and solary french team. SEN with sinatraa, sick, zombs, shaz, dapr were latecomers and not popular compared with 100t tsm c9 (tenz and friends), but they were team that first ended tsm era
Gambit vs Crazy Raccoon was my very first match.

I started watching during challengers stage 1 2021 so the qualification for the regional masters is when I started
