Yall mfs will say anything honestly. Look at Yay. If yay was never on Optic and yall saw him on C9, you would all be saying the same thing abt some competitive drive or inconsistency, only looking at their worst recent performances. Under the right team, right management, a player can shine. It's not some magical formula that can only mystically happen when you put the best players together, but it requires a lot of practice and meshing from the team itself. Like when you teach a newborn to walk or a toddler to talk, or a new couple how to live healthily with one another, you need a team to work with one another OVER TIME to become the best. So many people used to immediate results and instant gratification don't really know about hard work.
Marved is controller, and "retired" at the peak of his career tbh. Shahz kept playing thru his best times into his "worst" times, and im pretty sure he got a few offers from EU but wanted to stay NA anyway. End of the day at least they're both still signed.
imagine you are helpmeeee
the people on Sentinels
don't even know you exist
a different type of d*ckriding
unlucky.
don't people usually vouch for each other to help them get onto other rosters instead of virtually killing the other person's career over small drama? not to say wardell was a subject to this in particular, but isn't that just a general thing to do?
because its a different environment. in ranked people run reyna all the time, but rarely in pro scene. in pro scene there's different set plays and scenarios and their problem solving is more fluid than a pug with randos on both teams without a playbook or stats to back up their playstyle.
Kru got Keznit back, for mibr to be strong, they need heat fully online (as in playing his best). once that happens more often, they will be as strong as Kru, if not stronger.
the hardest thruth of all might be the teams we lost along the way... 😪😪
As bad as Sen's results after their first international win were, he was a good igl, ppl won't recognize it bc he was as popular as he was. and then coming from cs, ppl had a reason to jump on the hate bandwagon. Either way, some rosters work, some don't, they all eventually run into their limits. Just glad he may have found a decent one to mesh with.
Alfa is xfactor player, no xfactor means they just have to play that much better in general with a person who doesn't typically play on stage.
Back when he was in the spotlight during m2 reyk, i actively hated how good he was LOL, great talent and memories. good to see him doing good again.
This doesn't count but im pretty sure M80 Zander is part italian or smthn
They aren't lucky, just inconsistent. You can't count on them to be a sure winner, but when they do, they always take u by surprise doing it!
between C0m, Derrek, and Shahz tbh. Love watching their initiator styles and they all have nice personalities (on stream at least).
Scrims are different than actual games, if u watch VCL NA, you would have heard that Shopify Rebellion was insane in scrims, but sadly their scrim experience didn't come into fruition enough in matches, resulting in a 1W-4L elim in split 1. Decent team all around, but just an example of how scrims =/= official game wins. Congrats to the team nonetheless.
Just saw this, Listening to LEAVE ME by Peach Tree Rascals :)
why do you put geng & giants over 100t, EDG, or KCorp?
edit: (i can somewhat understand giants maybe, but why geng?)
Why did Loud choose Split rather than floating it if it was formerly their permaban? Are they feeling more confident on it? Do they play better with their new roster? Or were they permabanning it for strats? I'm not looking to instigate, I genuinely just want to know.
Rich coming from a person who cant even rep their country on VLR LMAO
Lets play a game called: "What type of drugs are you using???"
They literally had an 83% winrate on it all time. They only lost on it one out of six times. Sorry if you think I'm strange for questioning this.
Why did NRG pick one of Loud's historically best maps to play on first?? Strange pick imo.
prob garnetS, bc the rest of the team -jitboyz have played together previously, and jitboyz plays flex/initiator role.
Tbf that's what i meant when i said it'll end up like 21 Reykjavik, NA was seen as best, but then teams all over the world started picking up on meta stuff a lot quicker. But now the talent needs to be guided into whatever is best for their team's style of play is.
There are outliers, aka, the ONE team that literally went undefeated in their own region. Now that doesn't mean Brazil is bad, it just means there's levels to how good they are. That being said, I wish them the best, and I believe these Americas teams can easily prove to be some of the best in the world.
yea! he played sova when he was on Akrew which was one of the best T2 teams whenever he was on the roster. Truly a young talent in the making. Hoping Potter can turn him into an even more amazing player
Its because Americas are 2 continents and EMEA is like, 1.5 or something. We had hella talent before, just spread across a bajillion teams competing in NA circuit. Now EMEA who had a good few teams, with only the best few making it to the best tourneys, has all of their talent spread across more teams, because of the size of the region. not to mention the difference in both of our t2 scenes.
edit: also its like, the first tourney of the year. chill out and it'll prolly end up like 21 masters Reykjavik honestly. All of the teams need a bit to become their peak form.
Thank you for the insight, i wish them all the best.
no need, im sure loud will at least get close to finals, whenever there are more people allowed in the venue and the tournament gets past group stage. either way, its only the first Tourney of the year for Valorant, a 2.5 yr old game. Many more opportunities for Brazil and LATAM to support their teams beautifully will come.
Maybe after this match it will flood, brazil to support their 2 brazil matches
because education based on healthy food practically doesn't exist. so most families will just eat whatever is cheapest because that's what they can afford while being poor and busy all the time (at least for those families.) esp in america where they gear more towards helping companies benefit rather than the general public, there are hella food deserts (places in which there's really only fast food places and gas stations in lower income areas) it encourages poorer families to get a quick meal since they are exhausted and (possibly) uneducated on quick healthy meals they can make. You can try to put the blame on the general public for not trying to at least learn to eat healthy, but whenever:
your country doesn't really have any healthy "national dishes" and,
many people don't have any sort of cultural influence leading them towards healthy food,
as well as people living in lower income areas where cheap and accessible healthy food is harder to acquire,
it makes the whole scenario a little understandable.
(im a healthy mf tho dw, bless my caribbean fam for our amazing and healthy food fr fr)
Yes. He is a silly funny guy and im not a fun hater.
In America, there are many places where it is very difficult to access healthy foods, whether that be making more healthy foods expensive, or providing them in harder to access places. Not only that but many people may not want to spend the time to cook food. I wish it were that simple that people are just fat bc theyre choosing to be really unhealthy, but as many issues in our world, it goes deeper than just that.
Makes sense. Thanks for answering kindly!
Rotate Simulator, and with the current meta its not very practical to play any smoke character except for viper and viper is no fun (to me)
have a nice night either way and i hope nothing similar happens to you😀
throwing gets rid of the competitive integrity of a competitive game. specifically this is happening at the highest level that people can access without a tournament structure. whether or not it is a game, it doesn't justify grey area gambling where you try to sabotage your own team for money. it would be different if they were a third-party not in the match at hand, but they are in the match and directly influencing the matches' results. whether or not its the only way for a person to make money doesn't make it right. it ruins the games' longevity, and causes people more harm than benefit at the end of the day. btw all those suggestions are only a chance at avoiding those throwers, not 100%, so it doesn't even make the experience better for the streamer (who needs to stream as their income) and ruins the viewer's experience too (by adding black screens: which disrupt the entertainment, delay: which inhibits the streamer's interactions with the audience, and intermittent streams???: this is not a feasible option at all LMAO). There are certainly better options out there for people "struggling" to make money (even though they have low enough ping & consistent enough internet to play on their pc at high elo with other streamers.)
each team leader put their own teams together ? how're they gonna fire their content???
They made up a bit ago, and even duo'd for a bit in ranked 😅
SAME (as you can tell LOOL) its like christmas music without the christmas fr
LMFAO how u quote this when we both know tenz was a horrible raze at that time. look at the first map and you see it +13 from tenz vs +5 from yay
