Nah from all the screenshots ive seen she is so manipulative and was legit just using him.

Suggests to make her relationship open with him because she feels sexually unsatitsified
Causes them to leave each other for a month
Get back together with now open relationship
She talks with other guys and sees them. He doesnt
When asked why they are still together says its too stressfull to deal with a breakup and move out
He sees someone for the first time. She explodes, breaks his shit, goes on twitter

Overall the guy was getting played anyway.

sick seems mentally unwell. her tone of voice and the way she phrased things in her voice messages she posted on Twitter suggest to me that she's a manipulative girl who took advantage of Hunter wanting to make the relationship work. "half open", "I'm with another guy and talking with other guys, but he needs permission to talk to another girl" - that's a VERY toxic relationship dynamic. that power dynamic just screams to me, "I want to control this other human being and what they do, but I am allowed to have what I want"

A few things you said that were wrong but yea I mean he doesn't understand the dynamic cause he's only ever been in 1 short relationship. He doesn't have enough experience and from what I see he's clearly not a person that can tell another's true character.
He was mislead, manipulated, and taken advantage of, and he feels like it's all unfair but at the end of the day he needs to make peace with his decisions.
