They controlled first half against Japan like I've never seen a game be controlled, 79% possession with a system that contemplates when the ball is being contested. They relaxed at the start of the second half though, and you can't say that after the two japanese goals they were still chilling. Ferran Torres and Asensio immediately came on, but they still weren't able to score, and they were definitely trying.
