Had to come out of retirement to wish you good luck man. You made this site enjoyable, you were one of the only people who could hold an actual conversation, low-key sad youre going, you were a good friend, despite the fact that we've only spoken on VLR. Wish you the very best for your future, your studies and pretty much everything else, I hope we meet again in the future.

The amount of people shitting on seoldam after a bad day is crazy, when PRX lost everyone disregarded it by saying it was a show match with no importance and they weren’t trying, keep the same energy. There’s probably no satisfying answer to your question, he could barely hit a shot and he looked slow and out of touch, he needs time to get back into the flow of top tier valorant

posted about a year ago

Realistically who’s gonna be offended by this lmao. And furthermore, who wants France over Morocco, viva maroc all the way

posted about a year ago

His forward motion that continued up until the shot/moments before the shot, that now deems his action as a challenge for the ball instead of a fair 50/50, it’s not so much about what proceeds the challenge, more about the nature of the challenge. The shot that follows is a direct consequence of Livakovic making that challenge, that’s why it’s not really been argued against by the officials. This is what I think, anyway, and hearing former referees saying similar things has only helped me agree more.

I’d say it’s different because a corner consists of 2 players equally challenging for a ball, whereas this is a situation where a keeper makes a last ditch tackle to try and prevent a goal, and dare I say a clear goal scoring opportunity, where he goes out to win the ball where the only other outcome is him committing a foul. In a corner, not winning a header doesn’t directly result in a foul or a denial of a goal scoring opportunity. However, whether you or I are right or wrong, you’re correct in saying it impacted the game, Argentina were in complete control after that, so I can understand why some people will feel let down that a potentially wrong decision changed the game in the way it did

I don't like using the word fluke, but they did ride their luck this tournament. They've never looked like the better team, except against a pretty poor Canada. That being said, I'm sure this was their game plan, which worked well

posted about a year ago

I know a good few people who will be too, lord knows I'd love a Moroccan world cup

posted about a year ago

I understand your point but this is different, the keeper has made a challenge and gotten in the way of alvarez' run, it goes under impeding his run, as said by former referee Peter Walton. The focus isn't so much on the attacker, more on the fact that the keeper has made a challenge and come out second best, and that's the grounds on which the penalty was given

posted about a year ago

I mean you're not WRONG, just doesn't help my point😔

Penaldo and Pessi comments are the most childish things to say about football

posted about a year ago

Do people like you not get tired of starting the same thread every day. I don't get why it irritates you so much, there's not much valorant to talk about and this is a good place to have a conversation about it

posted about a year ago

Alvarez knew all he had to do was make sure the keeper got no contact on the ball and it'd be a foul, and that's what he did. It's a clear penalty to me, and the referees seem to agree.

posted about a year ago

That's crazy and all but Messi has done more in the world cup alone than ronaldo has all season

posted about a year ago

Unfortunately I disagree, the keeper is in his path, the only way it wouldn't be a foul is if alvarez moves with intention to initiate contact, which he doesn't, because as you said his momentum carried him into the keeper. The keeper here is making a last ditch attempt to stop him from scoring, which is a foul. A collision like that anywhere else on the field would be a foul to the attacker

posted about a year ago

I'm surprised so many people disagree with the penalty decision tbh. The keeper is making an attempt to make a save because he has to, but alvarez gets to the ball and the keeper has fouled him, if it was a defender in that position, having to make a last ditch challenge to stop a goal in the same circumstances and it proves to be unsuccessful, it'd be a penalty and a red card all day long. If the keeper doesn't get contact, it's got to be a foul

Morocco will be praying for a france win the way some of those defenders are playing

  1. I don’t need to cry Morocco are in the semis
  2. Falling to France or England is nothing to be ashamed of, bitch ass troll
posted about a year ago

Fair enough then, I guess

posted about a year ago

No they shouldn't lmfaooooo, you're falling for their dives too lmaooo, and that second half the referee was feeding Portugal, find a better excuse

posted about a year ago

I'm telling you I do, and the way you're talking is a telling sign that you don't understand football very well. Also, football and futbol is much closer than soccer

posted about a year ago

"Soccer"😂😂😂 I watch more football in a month than you watch in a year, your narrow foolish mind is trying to tell me morocco didn't play well when the world and their mothers can't stop praising them, don't try and come at me lmao respect yourself

posted about a year ago

"The way they played" they just matched 4 of the world's best teams and conly conceded an own goal and you're saying they cant

posted about a year ago

And it was still 1-0 at 90 minutes when he was on for over 40 minutes and did nothing

posted about a year ago

Do you watch football lmfao

posted about a year ago

Honestly with this defence, I'm not counting them out

Portugal without ronaldo> Portugal with ronaldo

Will get knocked out by morocco

The guys incredible, what vision and what skill

posted about a year ago

Perhaps it wasn't so much breaking then down, instead them just not being good enough in front of goal. Their football is very nice to watch, but they've averaged over 19 shots a game, dominated against South korea, but put that game aside and they averaged a goal a game. For all the talent they've got in attack, that's just not good enough

posted about a year ago

They struggled to break stubborn defences the whole tournament, ended up being their downfall

posted about a year ago

Tbf I think they did deserve it I must admit, they limited Brazil to very little.

posted about a year ago

True, historically RM have been good with their gambles, I trust their decision making here

posted about a year ago

Reinier Jesus, they payed 30m for him under similar circumstances and he hasn’t come close to the potential he has. few know of him, even though he’s still in La Liga on loan to a different team. Endrick looks better though, i see him doing well in a few years

posted about a year ago

If he’s half as good as he’s been for me in FM23, he’s worth the money. But on a more serious note, 60m for a 16 year old who’s played 7 professional games and is set to join them in a year and a half seems very very risky, it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve spent a good amount of money on a youngster that hasn’t lived up (yet) to their hype

posted about a year ago

Yeah I do 100%

posted about a year ago

Sesko gvardiol fati, maybe camavinga but that ones up for debate because I can’t make my mind up, that’s why I put 4-5th.

posted about a year ago

Because he won the award because a couple of journalists voted for him. Everyone knows how good he is, but that award doesn’t speak everyone’s minds

posted about a year ago

Damn this is a hard one. 4th or 5th currently, some of these players look like great future talents but aren’t at the level of gavi, though I expect a few people to disagree

posted about a year ago

Pedri over gavi, but he isn’t overrated. One of the best talents for sure, but probably didn’t deserve that golden boy award

posted about a year ago

With the expectations set as high as spains, and with how many Moroccans live in Spain, it doesn’t look good rn. Especially if Moroccans behave like they did in Belgium. Also, Spain-Morocco relationships have always been weird

posted about a year ago

We’ll find out eventually, unfortunately Enrique might not stay as manager for much longer. I don’t even mind their possession style, they just need new ideas going forward, false 9 worked in the euros but didn’t really work in the WC. They need to be more flexible, that’s for sure

posted about a year ago

Better for Portugal lmao, with no disrespect intended for Ronaldo, there are other players available who could do more than him today

posted about a year ago

Spanish players have always been terrible at penalty shootouts though, you've got to at least expect a much fairer contest from 12 yards

posted about a year ago

It worked for Spain though, this team had to have been the best since their golden age of 2008-2012, its just Spains lack of a striker plus inability to break down stubborn defences

posted about a year ago

Had surgery a few weeks before the WC so he wears it to protect his face

posted about a year ago

At this point I worry for Korea, Brazil look like scoring every time they go forward
