They controlled first half against Japan like I've never seen a game be controlled, 79% possession with a system that contemplates when the ball is being contested. They relaxed at the start of the second half though, and you can't say that after the two japanese goals they were still chilling. Ferran Torres and Asensio immediately came on, but they still weren't able to score, and they were definitely trying.

Completely agreee on all points. Spains finishing touch has been an issue for a long time now. That being said, they always find a way, they just can’t let this happen again. Other than that, they can be a title contending team
