yeah because im only 1 vote againt and 4 want Breeze... im telling already we are going to lose if enemy decides to pick it. Last time we played our Brimstone comp we didn't win more than 5 rounds against randoms in unrated. Our IGL has no idea how to call and I don't know how to play. Its bad idea, but well what can I do....
All maps are s-tier except Ice Box and Split. Split was the worst one, one-sided by CT side, unbalanced, complete trash. So many better teams lost this map because of it.
If ice box and split were balanced maps, no way acend would ve fluke win champions against Gambit. Now where is acend as the team and individuals? All complete washed while all Gambit players are tier 1, only D3ffo fell of.
that match wasn't a fluke. every player played their best. and also that split map ended its half at 7-5 to acend. after first half acend moved to attack side which means they were in your words on the disadvantageous side of split. the scoreline was pretty close and gambit had the potential to come back from the two round deficit by winning pistol + bonus which they didn't. than they won the next 3 rounds to bring the score to 9-8. A pretty close game overall before Gambit fell off and lost 13-8.
gambit should have won by your logic of "one-sided by CT side, unbalanced". as i said before acend started off that map with a 7-5 lead while defending. they should have lost to gambit on the offense according to your logic that defensive side is infintely more advantageous an that whoever gets ct side wins. also most of the acend members are in franchisement and amazing teams. starting with zeek. He is in Team Heretics along with Mixwell, Avova, and keloqz. BONECOLD is with Team Vitality one of the top teams in France. And cNed joined NA'VI alongside with the FPX core. I wouldn't say that the former members of acend are all trash.
i mean ofc Gambit lost not because of the Split itself, yesterday i was emotionaly biased
i just consider this map one of the worst in the map pool, may i do it?

acend played better on split and were better, Gambit was a better team overall, they must end the finale on ice box but d3ffo choked, and i consider acend win as the fluke. in while acend became totally washed team (changed igl, then zeek retired, then cned got exposed etc) and moreover individually they are all not tier 1 rn even cned who must prove that hes capable without broken Jett. gambit got fucked by pootin thats why they fell of.
I don't understand the people who defend split. It was such a dogshit map, attacking through thin corridors 10-2 halves, imagine how bad it would be with fade in the meta. They're only saying it was good because its been removed, even saying all the good pro games finished in deep OT on split, like yea watching the team win defence over and over in overtime is very interesting.
