i think it was because val pros like s0m were playing ow and apparently couldnt aim well, which then sparked a lot of ow players to say that ow was a better and harder game compared to val, kinda stupid since both are two entirely different game concepts

because non of the top tier ow pros have converted besides Sinatraa who was easily top 10 itw back then
tbf Winston and Reinhardt doesn't require good aim. Its more about positioning and decision making

I dont think ive played a game that has a more mechanical difficult hero than tracer.
i used to play alot of ow, was diamond for most of it, never once saw an effective tracer at that rank

no im not and u got a ow hateboner for what? valorant is freelo, accept that. mechanically, its one of the easiest games and the only aspect of valorant which is harder is map control

look at sinatraa lmao, best zarya itw converted to valorant and became best sova itw at the time . noone else on sinatraas level converted, imagine if players like pine or carpe went to valorant. and aint no way u using xqc as an example if anything it shows how stragically perfect he was. fns has dog aim, does that mean his value is any less than any top pro? no he finds value from strats and util

no i just didnt want to congest it into 1 long post, but ig someone like u didnt bother reading it. theres a reason why this game is filled with rejects from other fps games.
It may depend on the role, or maybe it's a preference thing. I've been playing OW2 for like 5 days, a couple games a day and i literally drop 30-35 with any dps i've used, or pick some tanks and just throw myself to the front line. My aim is like shit in csgo and valorant.
But to be fair i haven't been able to play competitive, i expect there's more difficulty. I say i expect because that isn't a given nowadays in games. Example: valorant. There's more braindead people in platinum than unrated games.
i'll have to disagree on this one brother, it's about both. Still, comparing both games it's kinda braindead to me, they are very different
Yeah at this point is more accurate to compare valorant to csgo (even when both are really different), but i think in #66 i explained why i couldn't call ow2 a "heavy centered aim game".

never played OW but i've tried a similiar game before.
I mean tbf OW aim ceiling is much higher than Val's, especially if ur a dps player who doesn't play Pharah. Characters like Cassidy, Widow, Ashe (Not her bot) all need good mechanics. If ur playing a melee tank then ur aim can be dogshit all you have to do is position well.
people really forget that xqc was considered one of the best in ow while being silver in any other game

plus in ow u don't even need to get someone from 100hp to 0 even assisting a kill gives u a kill
You do realize ow2 is one of the most hardest and broadest game aimwise. So depending on the role and agent you literally use the whole aim arsenal like static, tracking, smooth tracking, flicking, target switching, vertical tracking etc + insane movement on high elo.
Valorant/cs:go are tactics fps and aim wise is all about static aiming, crosshair placement + a bit of a movement with counter straifing (a bit in comparison to movement in ow2).
Ofc valorant pros who actually play on low sens and mastered on slow tac fps would suck on high elo at the very begging coz in OW you need more mechanical skills. But I at the same time you must understand that all pros are the gamers and if they would grind ow2 they will learn aim and movement mechanics and be as good as others.
