This might be an internet explorer moment, but I'm trying to understand FNS' reasoning behind these tweets.
I agree with the fact that people deserve second chances but when the decision Carlos made cost not only himself but employees and others millions of dollars you have to wonder where the line is drawn.

G2 will get weaker as an org without him most likely, and probably should've kept him on, but Riots decision completely made sense. He tripled down on his bromance with the top g, proving that he is an idiot who lets his feelings get in the way of the bag. Embarrassing to make that much money and be a fucking clown - all you have to do is be a lizard person online and you can do whatever degenerate shit your mind could imagine behind closed doors.

His actions DID cost him all of that money. You have to understand that Riot is also a business trying to make a profit. Including G2 in franchising would be a significant PR hit. I don't understand how deflecting the blame to Riot undoes any of Carlos' actions.
yeah Riot is a business but doesnt make what they did right just cuz they did it for business lol. g2 deserved that spot over orgs like EG/NRG and riot could have told g2 that they could have the spot if they get rid of carlos, and that would be totally fair, but instead they did this bullshit over a temporary incursion, shit coulda blown over eventually, they could have gotten rid of carlos, but riot made such a huge decision on a whim
People here doesn't understand this is a business. Riot is a company, G2 is a company. Money, funding, alliances and sponsorship moves it.
Not judging that, but when you are a company (or in this case, the face of a company), all those sponsors and partners are looking at you. If you make a bad move, that's potential repercussion for them.
In this actual world, i can assure people that would say "oh fuck logitech, they support g2 and the GM did this stupid shit" if Carlos stayed.

Cancel culture doesn't exist, it's just karma. To profit from internet, you need to understand how it works. Irl if I liked orange juice i would just get orange juice no matter what other people think but on the internet anyone can give their opinion and can show their presence(like, comment what not). In my opinion, being sexist, racist, homophobic etc is just stupid but if you are one of that kind and you profit off of the internet people you might as well just keep your mouth shut right? What happened to carlos is just modern day capitalism. He became a brand risk so Riot didn't want to partner with him so investors lost money and they wanted him gone.
Cancel culture does exist. This however Is really a case of a ceo making bad public relation move and doubling down and now suffering consequences due to businesses not wanting to take PR risk. Cancel culture is more of a mistake happening then the person apologizes but everyone still pushes to Cancel the person lol
It's not cancel culture, it's just human nature to be opinionated. Even in real life often you make assumptions, form opinion without having the full picture but the difference is that on the internet information gets shared to everyone so the reaction is lot broader. So, I never understood the concept of 'cancel culture' cz it would go down the same way in real life too albeit in a lowkey way. It's the size of the internet that makes the difference.
Bro the ppl calling out or hate Carlos don't even follow or know esports scene since the beginning. I've follow league since it's early days and the things he did for esports is undeniable.What Carlos did was dumb but he also did so many dumb things and personality always doubles down in the past. This one was just too much and ppl don't get it's a stupid mistake from him.
Imo, Carlos made a small problem into a bigger one. Yes he should be able to party with whoever he wants, but the way he defended himself dug himself a bigger grave. Carlos has done great things for the company he founded, but he acts like a child when he should be more professional about it. Yes esports is esports but when there is millions of dollars on the line and invested, you should be held accountable for your actions. At the end of the day Carlos partying with Andrew tate and behaving poorly on social media prevented G2 a spot in Valorants league which will cost players both the main roster and game changers roster's jobs and those who work behind the scenes. Also Yes the bts people will most likely find new jobs in new areas in g2, but it's a messy process that didn't need to happen.
