Will he stick on to T2 scene or will he try his luck in any of these Franchised team.
If he decides to try he'll get a huge buyout.
If SEN buys him,he brings lot of power fire to the team and they can definitely become a great team.
The cost of a player also includes their clout and how much they can bring to the brand. Tenz became the face of valorant, he was totally worth 1 mil+. Yay is less popular than him, so even though he is the best player, he's not as clouted so he should cost less than tenz.
tenz is the most popular val player, 30k streamer, has insane brand value as we saw from the finalmouse thing and at time of his buyout the best player. ofc its higher than yays. yay being the best player rn will be reflected in his buyout but its def not worth millions.
tbf there is a chance yay could be higher due to the competitiveness and demand for a good roster.
though i dont think that will happen as there are alot of other high calibre players available (cryo etc)
nah the thing is tenz buyout was crazy high for the time but he is still popular af so it paid off. And as you said the gap between yay and other players isnt that high to warrant that crazy of a buyout especially since he isnt as popular as tenz.
Nah, only s1mple and maybe some COD players in FPS scene are worth more than TenZ. Even dev1ce with 4 majors (three-peat) and one of the best awper of all time in CSGO only worth one mil. The gap between TenZ's worth and other player in Val scene is so fucking huge.
Well... I hope EG or NRG will acquire Yay and the rest of the OpTic team. It would be foolish to ignore the 2nd best team in the world. The number 1 team in NA.
If auctions are streamed live they may get more viewership than actual matches. Since there are lot of potential players whose team didn't get franchised.
This too possible. 100T supporting staff's are great er than SEN supporting staff's. If he goes there It'll make an huge difference in his performance too. We may see him play other agents.
