Mines:
1 - Golden Time
2 - Your Lie in April
3 - Horimiya
4 - Haikyuu
5 - AOT
I think it's incredible, not just the flawless production quality but also the world building and character development. It's the only isekai I've seen where the family is heavily involved in the story, and his struggles from his previous life doesn't just disappear when he enters into the new world. I'm also just a sucker for adventures so everything after turning point 1 was a blast for me.
first few episodes was peak but after red hair bitch came in its been going down hill, ive read the manga up to where she leaves and it instantly improves holy
She improved as a character overtime though, the dead end arc with Rudy, her and Ruijerd was incredible
think u would like black clover, takes till 15th episode to get going, but damn u will be able to binge it after that.
black clover does get good after like episode 15, idk this man seems to have just kinda basic shounen taste and is early on on watching anime, so black clover is like just a shit ton of carbs to fill the empty stomach.
can be spelled as shonen but still same meaning, anyways shounen means an anime normally targeted to young males or more like a adventurous-action genre anime
Thanks! :) My taste aren't exclusive to that but I certainly don't mind it lol, From what I've seen anime seems to elevate that kind of show more than others since theirs so many more possibilities with animation, not that I wouldn't watch a realistic anime, but if I'm looking for a more realistic show I wouldn't narrow it down too just anime.
if u liked Haikyuu watch Kuroko no Basket, it's like that focusing on basketball matches (obviously) and epic moments. The difference tho Kuroko got some special powers (nothing TOO crazy) unlike Haikyuu which is realistic
I watched haikyuu cause my teamates forced me too watch it at gunpoint but i enjoyed it lol, ill check it out
this is either a huge cope or you started watching it after the manga ended/was about to end.
I read and watched this shit for years loyally, every month, every week. There is no way you did the same and after the shit ending came you just sat and thought "yeah, this ending was worth all those years following the series hehe"
then your opinion is literally invalid, u don't even know whats the ending..
just wanna say that it was my first anime. ik its ending, i dont like it. But it deserves a top 5 cos of it being my first anime ever
but for me the ending doesnt ruin everything, the reason ppl care about the ending so much is because everything leading up to it has been so good. so why ruin all that for yourself?
also there are people who just genuinely love the ending so it is what it isss
oh yeah the ending definitely doesn’t ruin everything, aot is still amazing and in my top 10 it just looses points because i don’t like how isayama concluded eren’s character, but that’s about it
fair, steins gate is a banger and people really undervalue death note now that it has become mainstream so any one who likes it is just assumed to be a normie.
JoJo's Bizzare Adventures
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Stein's Gate
Clannad : After Story
Monogatari Series
Clannad is an emotional rollercoaster and it really made me cry
whereas monogatari, well its hard to explain or I should say not really for everyone out there but I enjoyed it. Has too many seasons and waifus hehe
I literally almost had a seizure from how bad the bloody Halloween arc was. The animation, directing, the monologue and dialoge were all shit. baji telling takemitchi that he reminds him of Mikey's brother despite barely ever talking to him, takemitchi running around flailing his arms and Draken calling it "inspirational". Baji killing himself (to prove a point?) Even going back to the 1st half it's a plot hole fest. Because someone was there to save takemitchi from a murder the purple haired kid assumed he was a time traveler, wtf kind of jump in logic was that? And that whole Draken and Mikey beef being resolved because Takemitchi got poop on his head. Maybe there's some odd arbitrary reason to enjoy it, but the writing is objectively flawed.
yeah I read it but I still don't car. You think angsty teenage gangsters behave rationally?
heard the manga was straight heat and everyone was going crazy over it but it fell off harder than fall guys, i haven’t read it bc i wasn’t interested enough that’s just what i’ve heard
Bro golden time and horimiya aren't even the best in their own genre
Love is war and oregairu negs comfortably
its my own person opinion. Doesnt have to be mainstream or like really well known. doesnt have to be ur best
I've watched all 4 I listed and usually mainstream are mainstream for a reason although aot is mid
idk im biased cuz its literally my childhood anime LMAO
watch it everyday on my TV when i was 6 yo
Aku no hana
Shouwa genroku rakugo shinju
Shinsekai yori
Paranoia agent
Perfect blue
i feel like these are all very similar but I can't find the words to describe what it is that makes them that way
tell me ur a pussy without telling me ur a pussy
-Mocking the KING of VLR.gg
Top 5 best or top 5 favorite?
My top 5 favorite are
My fav
I personally like DBZ very much but dunno where to put in the list so yeah
Cowboy bebop
Ace of the diamond
AOT
Haikyuu
FMA Brotherhood
if manga was mentioned
Berserk and ao ashi >>>>>>>> anything on the list
True trash taste, unlike the so called trash taste podcast has.
I do it in animanga bc i actually know
Tokyo Ghoul is the most criminally underrated anime of all time. I haven’t been able to watch a anime since just can’t find one that’s better
No? I enjoyed all of it, Season 2 or even RE was nothing compared to the first season still doesn’t make it bad imo. Enjoyed it from start to finish
I include manga also if the anime has one and i have read it
Best: Deathnote
1- komi san can't communicate
2- hxh
3-Aot
4-your lie in April
5- code geass
KIMI DAYO KIMI NANDAYO OSHIETE KURETA
JIBUN WO SEKAI idk anymire
100/10 winner
Blue bird overrated, peace sign good but not the best from Yonezu Kenshi imo.
my taste in anime is a mess
W taste, but tower of god is ??? could be worse tho. I felt like the anime just needed more time to work with and it would actually be a banger. Respectable regardless.
tower of god is there cuz of manhwa bias, probably would put mushoku tensei there
(I still haven't watched lots of the animes that I plan to watch in the future so the sample space is pretty small for me.)
Fate Series(Specifically Zero/El Melloi/HF and Prisma Movie)
Jojo's
Code Geass
Zankyou no Terror
Classroom of the Elite
HM; DxD 👌🏻
too many good anime so favorites that comes first in my head
respectable. I love CIX win for god of high school and theres just so much of my fav animes here 10/10
You should try them if you're into comedy/slapstick anime, especially beelzebub if you liked gintama
but these arent:
definetly beyblade , beyblade is special for me i watch every week on tv when i child
Legends of Galactic Heroes
Hunter x Hunter
Code Geass
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Steins;Gate
is Legends of Galactic Heroes actually worth it? It's so long, I wonder if people just stockholme syndromed from having watched so many episodes
It's definitely worth it. I understand what you said about long anime, I'm not a fan of Gintama or One Piece for instance. But LOGH is amazing, do yourself a favour and watch it
black lagoon is so good. the scene where the maid hip fires the 50 cal and takes out like 10 navy seals was fucking amazing
Code Geass
Clannad
FMAB
HxH
AOT( Excluding whatever happened after timeskip)
could replace aot with one piece but the anime is so fcking long thats why i prefer its manga the episodes feel so dragged out with so less content so much recaps
I know its a W list, upvotes appreciated.
I haven’t watched a ton so I feel like these are standard answers but
Code Geass
Hunter x Hunter
Black Clover
91 Days
Fruits Basket
Yes from shonen to a SoL.
I've actually just started watching anime with this show, so i have nothing to compare it to
1.FMAB
2.Demon Slayer
3.Evangelion (remake)
4.Berserk
5.Jojo 2nd Season
if we're talking about a series as a whole and not only a single season, i could replace jojo with either ghost in the shell or psycho pass.
Psycho pass is so good. Even when the mc kinda wasn't that present, the show was still very enjoyable.
I've seen a lot of shows that are 9/10s and 10/10s but if I were to restrict it to 5 here are my picks
1) HxH
2) Vinland Saga
3) FMAB
4) Mob Psycho 100
5) Golden Kamuy
honorable mentions for this list could be 3-4 times as long there are a lot of good shows I've seen
Vinland Saga if it continues to be as good as s1 was, it will be my favourite anime of all time but I feel like slow burners need to stick the ending for it to be a good anime so I think it's too early to say its top 5. unless you've read the manga then fair enough
when possible I actually try to not read the manga before watching the anime since the expectation of having everything in the story included in the final show makes me feel like I'm constantly judging it rather than watching it and seeing how much I enjoy the storyline in the anime, even if it's not completely true to the original storyline
In no order:
Terror in Resonance
March comes in like a lion
Mushishi
Kino's journey (OG not remake)
Odd taxi
Violet Evergarden
I didn't see a lot of animes but I like this ones:
not in any particular order, but haikyuu, shokugeki no soma, code geass, your lie in april, and dxd
1- One Piece PEAK FICTION
2- GTO
3-Steins;Gate
4- Ping Pong The Animation
5- Slam Dunk/Sangatsu no Lion/ MOB PSYCHO/Your lie in april/Vinland Saga/Attack on Titan
(yes all tied)
And I'm pretty sure I forgot other good ones that could be in my top 5
-Supernova The King of Valorant
1- Monster
2- Ping pong the animation
3- Slam Dunk
4- Mushoku Tensei
5- Koe no katachi
Not in order
carole & tuesday being on any list is wild, the animation was god tier but holy fuck was it boring, watched like 6 episodes and nothing changed since episode 1
Bonus track: Yowamushi pedal just for fun and for the interest (i bike a lot)
but seriously tho
(not in an order)
