i dont think its really about just gun fights obv duelists need kills
But imo you need a good flex initiator for a good duelist to really pop off
I mean look at will. With asuna setting him up he has been doing good on 100t

what do you mean tho by duelist? there are no duelist only players anymore. most duelist players play other flex roles(like Victor or zekken) or Chamber like Cryo or yay.

Victor is full time duelist according to a marved interview so bad example
Also the perfect example to prove my point
Only time Victor doesnt play duelist is when Optic has a no duelist comp
Kanpeki did best on Neon with Akrew and when he played Jett
Like i said he was better duelist
Will is another example of a full time duelist except when they now and then want a chamber in the comp
Obviously there are going to be small exceptions here and there
Its about the role entirely. not just the agents they play on
