I think its time to consider they should no longer be in a tier 1 conversation and potentially a roster shakeup.
They are so predictable and they dont take enough risks and stay posted up on defense.
The only reason they stay close in games is because they have loads of talent. But I think it is time to shake this up. Love Hiko, but wonder if him/steel gotta go.
I wouldn't go that far but all 5 of 100t would have to show up. That's the problem they never all show up on the same day. They also need to diversify their playcalling. They went from always defaulting to five manning most rounds in this series. Basically their too predictable and I think that's cuz people know how steel calls

IMO they (both of them) play like a clown. Too much Throw from both.
Too much odin while situation isn't that good. (Ascen defender okay, but ascent attacker? cmon noble)

Btw 100T is my 2nd best team in NA IMO. So I'm not talk shit about them, the game just shit.
They’re tier 1 for sure IMO. Not to say they are some powerhouse in NA. But they are fighting for Masters slots regularly, IMO if you are doing that you are Tier 1. Until they stop doing that, then IMO it’s time to start the conversation of not being tier 1.
They might be underachieving, or not beating teams easily. But they are still beating tier 2 teams and fighting for Masters slots. That’s tier 1 IMO.
It’s also not like Noble are a bunch of scrubs. I think this should just be a wake up call to teams and fans that the tier 2 scene is not some far group of teams away from Tier 1. But can and will go on runs and play spoiler to tier 1 teams regularly.
This is a win for NA as a whole. As it shows the scene is not as top heavy as many believe.
The only thing 100T need to change is banning/changing up how they play Icebox. They look good on Haven, Ascent and Breeze(based on opponents POV) and I really don't think their bind is that bad so idk why they are banning bind instead of Icebox. Either way they won map 1, even with Ethan's issues and subbing in a jett main on skye who hasn't played any official games in months, started to come back on a map they suck at and won map 3 despite Noble's weird style on defense and the odin spam from Leviathan.
Surprisingly the no sage lineup worked better on attack than defense but yeah they definitely have to work on their Icebox defense. Also tbf ZK had the game of his life on Icebox. Luckily, 100T have a few days to make some changes before the main event, so hopefully they work on Icebox. I think they really need to work on their A site defense specifically because Asuna kept getting caught out top site and steel wasn't getting much value out of the awp. I feel like steel should be rifling more and maybe they need to get more aggresive and switch steel and nitr0 up some more.
They're obviously Tier 1.
They are consistently qualifying for what matters and beat T2 and other T1 teams. That's Tier 1. Whether or not they make (a LOT of) mistakes is debatable to the ends of the earth, but just because they aren't a flawless powerhouse doesn't meant they're not T1 by stats and performance. They just look too shaky to be #1 unfortunately..
