1st off it doesn't annoy me that much it just isn't necessary and I would rather not have to deal with trolls, specifically having to explain to new people that he is just a troll since he pisses off a bunch of people and it's just annoying to a lot of people at this point. 2nd: he was banned because he said if a specific result didn't happen that the admins should ban him, which they did but now he has returned after multiple alt accounts.

Yeah, if this were just two Tier 1 teams, they literally would just throw because they know they'll play against each other (or a similar opponent) in the main event, which will be much more important than this silly seeding bracket NSG likes doing.

Why is Nerd St the only organiser that demands teams play for seeding? Every other region stops at qualifying (Ro.8). It's clear seeding doesn't matter given the outcome of First Strike. It's unfair to the players and audience, it's not worth using real tactics and showing your hand which isn't good viewership either given this is a TACTICAL FPS.

NSG is the one that decides it, first of all they were hired by riot as the tourney organizer, and on top of that they tweeted out that they will be fixing the format. So idk where you got the idea that Riot is the one that made the format for this Qualifier

Agreed. Even more dumb when the top 8 are all very good teams like in NA, the most stacked Region. If it was Japan or Korea with only 2 good teams I would've understood that decision.
