0d1nxD [#6]no betters players at
Ofc for example:
Al0rante - second duelist/ flex
Memset - sentinel
Qw1- jett entry
DavidP - IGL, controller
1ndra or lauress - Sova
patuj [#13]Nice news! EMEA is actually looking really good rn with all these relatively big orgs joining in. Having orgs invested like BIG, Vitality, Alliance, Mouz, Excel, NaVi, possibly Virtus Pro is really good for the scene even if they are more of budget teams.
Meanwhile Astralis waiting to find 5 Danish players after 5 years
bambamskrrt [#15]"The team will play in VCT DACH and are expected to get a second DACH player who will be on the bench."
does that mean they will get another player from DACH and put him in bench just so they can compete in vrl dach? isn't that a little bit sad for the player who get benched LUL
maybe it will be a coach/analyst who is good enough to play in diamond/low imm level.
there are many options to get around the rules
ZoldyK [#17]Kryptix goes from being carried by one headshot machine to another headhsot machine
who's the other lol?
bow___ [#19]maybe it will be a coach/analyst who is good enough to play in diamond/low imm level.

yeah, that will be better for them instead of having a player that just sit on the bench doing nothing.
Origin [#23]wait what do the vrls count for do they get you a place in the challengers thing?
The TOP 1 teams from VRL leagues and two worst teams in Challengers will play in "VRL EMEA" for 2 slots in Challengers 2.
tl;dr ye
Mortadelo [#12]I didn’t know you could put a player on the bench in the Dach VRL and count for nationality like in Spain xD
yeah, the official rules for all vrls say that you need 1 local player in all games + 1 player on your roster that doesn't have to play, so it can be a coach, a sub, or a random family member that you just added to ur roster
VirajKnight [#18]Meanwhile Astralis waiting to find 5 Danish players after 5 years
i thought who cars? was supposed to join ast
Sem1- [#28]they can play in DACH with just 1 German player?

xDDD
Makes sense, I thought we were the only dumb ones. Does that apply to the Russian and Turkish vrls then?
Mortadelo [#34]xDDD

yea it applies for all of them including CIS (Russia + all former soviet countries except Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), and Turkey (+ Northern Cyprus probably)

Weird, because when I said FNC could play in CIS now, everyone said they needed 3 players
Mortadelo [#37]Weird, because when I said FNC could play in CIS now, everyone said they needed 3 players
well idk who said that, but they were wrong. idk if they actually could play tho, cuz i'm not sure if derke would count as russian
xaboff [#38]well idk who said that, but they were wrong. idk if they actually could play tho, cuz i'm not sure if derke would count as russian
I think he does have the nationality ( https://liquipedia.net/valorant/Derke ). But still they could just get a random sub
patuj [#10]Kryptix has good experience from playing in tier 1 and in team like Team Liquid under Sliggy's coaching. He might not be your pick for one of the best tier 1 teams, but he is decent addition to a lot of tier 2/3 teams.
this is a tier1 team bro, kyrptix is a bit overkill for tier 2/3 xd too much experience for that level
There's inevitably going to be roster changes after a bit but this is a solid roster to enter into Valorant with. al0rante is really special player and is a great centerpiece for this roster. Kryptix used to be a great player and even though he wasn't great at the end of his time on Liquid, I think he'll be much better after his break. Memset is a great sentinel main, luzuh is a good main duelist and Amilwa is the IGL. I'm mostly excited about Mouz in Valorant because of how they always find such great talents in cs(NiKo, ropz, frozen, torzi, etc.) and they already got one in Valorant with al0rante.
Mortadelo [#39]I think he does have the nationality ( https://liquipedia.net/valorant/Derke ). But still they could just get a random sub
I don't think nationality matters too much in this, local players are defined as Locally Trained Players, which indicates their long-time residence, or playing for teams from that region for a longer period of time would make you one, instead of your nationality.
also even if thry got relegated from vct, which I highly doubt, they definitely wouldn't be getting a sub just to play in the cis vrl. they're a british org and already have 3 players, a coach, and more staff that make them eligible for vrl northern, so I'm 99% sure they'd just play there
MrBreasticle [#40]this is a tier1 team bro, kyrptix is a bit overkill for tier 2/3 xd too much experience for that level
I don't know would I call this team tier 1. Obviously it depends on where you put the line. In my head tier 1 in Valorant is currently relatively small group.

That doesn’t really make sense, players. Does that mean that Riot doesn’t consider idk xeta as Korean?
The joke is if they are gonna end up going to the easier qual in CIS
patuj [#43]I don't know would I call this team tier 1. Obviously it depends on where you put the line. In my head tier 1 in Valorant is currently relatively small group.
tier1 are the people regularly qualifying for the tier1 events so looking at rankings eu i would say roughly top 30-34

for the qualifiers, at least that's what the rules were last season, you could join any of the 3 qualifier no matter if you had 0 russians or turks, I think there was a Turkish team in the EU qualifier this time around as well - Digital Athletics
and about xeta, this specific ruleset only applies to emea, but if something like that came to fruition in na or korea, i think they'd follow the lol example, where players stop counting as imports after playing and residing in the region for 3 years, so xeta would not count as a local player in NA just yet.
say that 3 years would already have passed and he was considered a na local player, and he decided to move back to korea, I think he'd be immediately considered as a local player in korea
Mjtchell [#7]Kryptix took a small break and got completely replaced
Well, I mean, you got kryptix on one hand, and Nivera switching to Val on the other, kinda obvious choice to me
MrBreasticle [#45]tier1 are the people regularly qualifying for the tier1 events so looking at rankings eu i would say roughly top 30-34
no way bro t1 has to be vct teams, t2 the better vrl teams and t3 the worse vrl teams and better vrc teams

But those are rules for the EU qualifiers, you can't apply those to the VRL, I think it would make 0 sense if idk, a group of 5 Spanish persons live in Germany for a couple of years, play there and then they can play in the VRL. I think nationality is what counts

yeah your example is exactly why nationality doesn't count. imagine you move to a country for several years, have perfectly assimilated into their society, and pretty much plan to stay for the rest of your life, you just can't get the citizenship because say it's difficult for foreigners to get a citizenship in the country. and then you simply couldn't participate in a tournament because you are not a citizen. it just doesn't work like that
xaboff [#48]no way bro t1 has to be vct teams, t2 the better vrl teams and t3 the worse vrl teams and better vrc teams
Agreed.
bow___ [#50]ye
im sorry mate if im being dumb but do the winners of this league qualify for masters 1

But that's the countries business, if they say you are not from there yet, you are not from there yet. And you can't know if his plan is to stay there or what, you can't judge by people's intentions, and is not Riots job to do
Origin [#56]im sorry mate if im being dumb but do the winners of this league qualify for masters 1
no
just TOP X in Challengers 1
X - idk how many

oh right tysm for dealing with me being dumb

yes, it's not riot's job, that's why they're not judging whether you are from there, but whether you live there
xaboff [#48]no way bro t1 has to be vct teams, t2 the better vrl teams and t3 the worse vrl teams and better vrc teams
the top 34 are almost all comprised of vct teams
MrBreasticle [#63]the top 34 are almost all comprised of vct teams
how bro there's literally only 12 vct spots
Estiggma [#66]Another liquid bot stealing paychecks just like ec1s
Such a silly take. Kryptix is insane, bro. He's played tier 1 Val at the highest level. The kid is absolutely cracked. Watch his streams and maybe you'll get a feel for his raw aim and talent since apparently everything he achieved with Liquid isn't enough. As good as the best sentinels in the world? Maybe not quite... but he's hardly an average player.
Gomes255 [#30]Al0rante, check his HS% on each match
he is an insane aimer but maybe he needs more game knowledge maybe also the experience
