is g2 the only ascension team to remain on franchising so far? cuz i think boom is also confirmed to be out next year and idk about nsrf chances, i know xlg will most likely stay tho
G2-alr qualified
2G-can still qualify for ascension or champs (unlikely)
APK-arent relegated yet but will be soon
M8-arent relegated yet but will be soon
DRG-qualed for ascension and can still qualify for champs (and need to place above xlg if they qual too) to guarantee it
XLG-qualed for ascension, can still qual for champs (and need to place above DRG if they qual too) to guarantee it
BOOM-relegated
NS-qualified for ascension, need to qualify for champs to guarantee it

boom beat zeta = 6, dfm then need to beat T1, then i believe get two more points in playoffs idk how that works but they prob wont
They are like that because they don't know whether RRQ or TS will make it. NS win and they're through to playoffs anyways. Here are the scenarios if NS lose.
-TS beats RRQ 2-0: Head to head all three are 1-1. Next tiebreaker is head to head map differential which are NS +1, TS 0, RRQ -1.
-TS beats RRQ 2-1: Head to head map differential will be NS +1, RRQ 0 and TS -1.
These are obviously with GE losing but let's say GE win and NS lose their final game whilst TS beats RRQ:
-4 way tiebreaker with all 4 teams on a 2-3 record. Liquipedia says that the 4 way tiebreaker will try to split them into two groups of two. Well, head to head score of these 4 teams are NS and TS on a 2-1 record and RRQ and GE on a 1-2 record. This means NS and TS make it to playoffs, with NS being in 3rd for the tiebreaker between these two teams since NS beat TS. TS vs RRQ map score doesn't matter as long as TS win.
Simply put, even if they lose, if TS win, they are guaranteed top 3 whilst if RRQ win, they would be 4th as they beat GE in head to head should GE win their last game. Beating both GE and TS 2-0 and losing to RRQ 2-1 really helped with their map differential a lot since they won the maximum number of maps they could with a 2-1 record.
I already mentioned but if TS beat RRQ 2-0, then RRQ can't make playoffs. That's why they don't have a colour yet. NS just don't have a scenario where they can drop below 4th. I'm guessing nobody really edited that yet. Only the three Korean teams in that group have confirmed playoffs with GE the team to have confirmed failure to reach playoffs. RRQ and TS will have their fates on the line. RRQ just need to win a map to go playoffs though
Okay, let me run you through the colours on liquipedia. Blue=bye in playoffs. Green=normal starting position in playoffs. Yellow=lower bracket start in playoffs. Grey=unknown whether they will make playoffs or not. Red=cannot make playoffs. They will be given a colour based on their lowest possible finishing position except in the case of grey and red. RRQ's lowest possible finishing position is 5th. They cannot be given a yellow, a place in the playoffs, when they cannot be guaranteed to make playoffs. Just because they are above them right now and NS guaranteed to make playoffs, doesn't mean that they will also make it. I already mentioned multiple times but lost 2-0 to TS and they will drop to 5th. That alone means that they CANNOT be given a yellow in liquipedia. After all, being given a yellow right now means they will finish 4th at worst and that is not the case. So no, not giving RRQ a yellow is not a mistake.
"Just because they are above them right now and NS guaranteed to make playoffs, doesn't mean that they will also make it."
I already saw a team in Yellow and the team under them being green, look at APAC

It's not a problem to have a team in a better color and being classed under
BOOM are not relegated, they qualified to Ascension by champ point
