cortezia's interview says it all
Maybe verno wasn't a scapegoat and maybe he just didn't mesh well with the team. You can watch the NRG com videos, he barely said anything, yet he's midrounding on MIBR. Maybe he was overpowered by all the other voices on the team and couldn't find a voice within their system. Just because he's a great player doesn't mean he's the right fit. They even said they knew this while they were winning the off season tournaments

Didn’t expect him to be midrounding a lot when you’re on a team with fns som and Ethan in the first place. compared to MIBR player wise I think it makes sense as to why he’s more vocal
Yistyy [#6]I think he just learnt his lesson and decided he needed to be more vocal after getting kicked.
brotha u think he learned how to comm and is now helping midround on mibr in the span of a month?
you were fed lies by NRG bud, accept it

Exactly, just unsure why people think verno being good on MIBR is this massive L for NRG. brawk seems like a good fit regardless

Considering how long he was on OXG, he had more than enough experience, professionally or otherwise, to know how to communicate.
100% agree, the org was just trying to save face with their vlogs after dropping their highest rated player from their off season tourney win.
C9 type beat.
Yistyy [#6]I think he just learnt his lesson and decided he needed to be more vocal after getting kicked.
He was plenty vocal on OXG. It's absolutely an NRG issue, we just don't know exactly what.

In the comms videos he wasn't good at communicating at all.

He was in OXG's wdym? NRG's comms video proves nothing when the org has gone out of their way to frame him poorly in other content to excuse booting him.

Maybe, I know nothing about their team dynamics so I can only speculate. But from the outside looking in verno wasn't talking much, and the few times he did it was polluting the vc with sus jokes (in the middle of a pro match btw).
