If I'm not mistaken g2 overall is set in Europe, however val vct g2 is in americas. Why are they not in emea, wouldn't it be easier to manage or is this an early method of branching out.
SomeOne__val [#5]Even before that g2 in na
it was tier 2 team before
because ig tier 2 na in 2023 was better than emea idk
till 2022 g2 was emea
CallMeVortex [#8]They had an EMEA Team that was supposed to get into Franchising but the Manager or something went partying with the Tate Brothers. Riot didnt let them in Players went too different EMEA Teams.
G2 went to challengers in NA and then bought The Guard Spot in Franchising.
Hmm I never knew
It doesn't matter where the org is from, it's just the players. Like many org will have players from other countries but due to limitations will just keep them there and participate in their local or regional tournament. I dont know much about FPX but I do know they played mainly in Europe before franchising same thing with G2 and I know Liquid has a lot of Brazilian teams although being in Europe

I'm pretty sure they were supposed to get an NA spot and were going to buy the xset roster and that C9 was the backup org for their spot which is why they made it in. Also it was the ceo I believe, not the manager

No, they were always gonna be NA, originally they were gonna get the entire xset roster but then decided to go t2
