G2 plays situations perfectly though
They always play together, hold crossfires in post plants / don't peek unless forced to, have good discipline, know when to aggro, have great prep almost every time. Tell me if any other team does all these things? Most players peek one by one and overheat so much while G2 usually doesn't. If you've ever analysed their games instead of being an overreaction Andy, you'd know. Also, waiting for a full minute for defenders to peek into you is more often than not a great strategy, even if it's boring to watch.

Yes I watched the games and it's why I predicted EDG to win, no overreaction. All of those things you listed are things G2 failed to do and EDG did. The exception is not peeking "unless forced to," because good teams will regularly peek of their own accord in order to secure an advantage.
EDG's biggest strength is in their micro gameplay, and it's not the same as an aim diff. They are prepared to initiate team fights that will disorient the enemies and quickly cover each other's backs. Just because the opponents look sloppy playing against it doesn't mean EDG is sloppy too.
Some of y'all watch teams play so passively it's to their own detriment and then act like teams that take initiative somehow aren't playing with good fundamentals.
