How the fuck is Keiko not in the top 5? He's the HIGHEST rated player from EMEA. Surely if they put free1ng in the top 5 cuz he was the highest rated player from Pacific going into Bangkok, they put Keiko as well right? How is fucking zekken higher than him?

leaf in 3rd is also a bit of a stretch, he kinda cooled down towards the end, should be in 6th / 7th.

The list is for "who they think the best players at playoff will be" its not based solely on their recent kickoff performances. Jawg and Zekken have shown consistency through the years so they got backed by 9 analysts, not to mention community voted Zekken to be 4th.
EMEA literally had 1 good team until Liquid woke up, so APAC and Americas had better competition so being a top player in APAC was more impressive than being the best in EMEA

yeah, they glazed zekken and jawgemo because of their "history" in the game when Less is literally greater than both historically and also younger than both

even statistically for Kickoff doesnt make sense:

zekken and jawgemo being "smart perfect duelists": 1.04 and 0.97 rating

Less having lackluster performance and being forgotten: 1.08 rating, Grand Finals MVP

Less is very good ofc, but I don't think he had that standout of performance in Kickoff. Outside of finals you could argue he looked like the 3rd or at times even 4th/5th best player on their team. I mean the team is stacked and even Kicks had very good games.

free1ng is ranked super high, hes good but no offence but he is a one trick tejo merchant. i would not put him so high. he would make the top 10 fs but not 4th, maybe 6th. i dont think trent should be here but idk G2 too well, zekken 4th or 5th is more accurate, i would put trexx instead of sayf in the top 10, and i am sure that there is someone better than hyunmin for 10th. hyunmin feels like someone for the HMs instead of the actual list. maybe someone like zellsis or buzz or izu or one of the trace duelists in 10th instead would be better. otherwise the list isnt too bad at all.
