Bangkok stacked?

I feel like this tourney is looking to be insane with all regions looking insane, but G2 and Vit are the standouts. I do worry because last year Madrid was looking gigahype as well with a team like KC getting insane hype but failing to meet expectations and falling off a cliff afterwards. It just makes you wonder if this will be the highest level of play ever with the most diverse meta ever or if some of these hyped teams won't meet the super high expectations everyone has for them. Plus yk it's in Bangkok so it might be a 7 hour tech pause or smth who knows

NRG are gonna have to climb a MOUNTAIN to make it to Bangkok because of their loss in their 1st game. Facing KRU may be no problem for them, but they're going to have to face either LEV, G2, SEN, or LOUD in the match that follows, and even if they win, they'd still have to face the upper finals' loser, (very likely SEN/LOUD) which are not bad teams by any means. But still, it's NRG, so I haven't given up on them just yet

I think APAC isn't fully locked yet. There are A LOT of games that can go either way right now.

I hope so

Madrid had the potential to be one of the best events OAT but both the EMEA teams pulled SEN and PRX back to back and just got experience diffed so the number of competitive teams was way less than anticipated

Bangkok on the other hand is looking like every region's top 2 will at least be doing damage, and every region (except Pacific, region still looks iffy to me) has at least 1 team competing for the trophy

the run is easier than u think tbh
nrg beats kru pretty easily

LEV next (assuming g2 somehow dont throw) is also a pretty easy opponent with the way they have been performing, and then itll prolly be like mibr or loud next
then sen next and nrg beats them and makes the run

nah theyre fine

kru/lev/loud/mibr are all easy. i think they can make lower final no problem, but winning the lower final is another thing

To be fair I just thin EMEA isnt that good, KC was absolutely horrible vs VIT in Abyss, with a decent team VIT would be in looser (KC loose against one of the worst team right after, I blame a little bit the format, but still), EDG and GEN seems to start to leave what did their strenght last yea : Replace a sentinel by a controller. It even weird in a meta where KJ get hard countered by Tejo, in AMER/APAC only 1 games was played by the best team, so too early to say.

For the moment I dont trust a lot

Me when the team that went 32-0 (albeit farming) isnt a standout

icl, i saw KC and VIT on paper and thought they would both be top 3 teams. idk why people rated them so low before kickoff

in short, what you have just said, they beat everyone except g2 and go on a 4-game win streak including a lower final bo5

I also thought they would be really good but I had a huge deception looking at this map, KC managed to be so obvious in their call, and EVERYTIME where flooding the site that was stacked, it made me so mad, and Vitality not being able to win the round despite knowing everytime exactly what they do was absolutely horrible to see (but really entertaining I can admit)

But season is still long, and if dont beleive the level will be high at kickoff I have hope in the ed of the year, team really ended up mastering the meta at the end

basically, it theoretically wont be that hard tbh (which is why sen fans need to cope on kru beating NRG or SEN beating g2)
