He most certainly is a downgrade as a whole.
I'm not talking about the aim, one of the reasons Fnatic were able to make the 3-11 comeback was Derke, he's a vocal personality who has that good vibe

stop being delusional, kaajak would need years to catch up, derke is a huge loss, not only because of his fragging or opping, but because he is one of the smartest duelist ever, and an incredibly good teammate

Alfajer and Leo were the reason why FNC did well in Lock in and Tokyo, not derke.

Again, as I mention I am not even gonna speak for the 'aim' but for the person.
Kaajak is not a very vocal personality unlike Derke who would fuel the team when they would be down.
And my point mentioned the comeback being possible due to Derke's personality (from the voice comms, Boaster had almost lost hope when Chronicle and especially Derke chimed in)
It's the persona that makes a difference.
Aim wise comparison is a whole different topic

tex was great in shanghai with 1.16 KDA and 215 ACS, kingg was great in champs 22 and is a consistent performer overall. natank was very good on a bad team. so to answer your question yes

Kaajak can literally develop to be the next Aspas or even better, you don't believe the hype but big orgs do, he has shown crazy improvements in the past years too
