What's up with EMEA and importing?

Okay, Flor may sign with Apeks and this made me really think about what is wrong with EMEA. You guys have such a big tier 2 scene. You have Turkey actually which is really unfair because I am pretty sure there's like 15 wonder kids every 2 km² in Turkey. You guys imported a shit ton of talents which I mean is not wrong by any means but why not cultivate your own region. I am not blaming here, just a genuine question with a hint of sadness. You let Kr1stal go, who was an amazing igl initiator for XLG. You have Sultan sitting somewhere in Kazakhstan and he is insane too. Why this much import when your own region has this much talent?

I am not a connoisseur in EMEA, probably the least watched amongst all the regions except for China. But even I can name 5 talents which are not signed in tier 1 this year. There is no way I have more information than the scouts.

Im fairly certain the reason for some Turkish talent not being signed is lack of english

Well technically there are more EMEA players playing in other regions than other region players playing in EMEA

The Saadhack and Less imports, I have nothing to say about, if you get the chance you fucking get them

Florescent makes a lot of sense for Apeks, not only gameplay wise which it does because she’s got a crazy calling. But specifically outside the game it’s a move that brings a lot of attention to an org in desperate need of it

talent starved region with too many T1 slots poaching from GOATmericas because leo faria combined the 2 strongest regions in the world for no reason and gave ch0na and bumea their own leagues

Im guessing they are not searching for talent only but popularity. Most of the player they imported got some solid fanbase behind them i guess thats a reason right?

its a mix of two things, emea t2 is segmented to a fault meaning the density of talent in each league is super shallow making it harder to assess each player along with said players not being able to improve due to how weak it is. the other factor is gms being weird and somewhat fraudulent
