why? the org is Indian, the people funding the team are Indian, the people running the team are Indian? Do they not deserve to rep India just because their country's players aren't good enough to play in that level yet? Would you have had the same thoughts about Indian player quota if relegation existed and performing bad meant going back to the unsustainable Tier 2 ?
They don't bro , it's cause the fans act like dickheads and crybabies of wanting an Indian roster , hamara bgmi season jismein itne acche talent hai that cant produce a good enough team to win it all in the world stage ( the times where we have gone to a world stage ) and u expect this from valorant?
For the initial season i guess thy tried to go in huge with big names but once it flopped, they went to the budget roster+ regular performance from indians in ascension didnt help the cause either. it was like have a chance maybe with intl or guarenteed bottom of the table finish with full Indian roster. And I dont think we would have rallied behind GE if they would have gone last place with all indian roster
its not just on team owners,players themselves don't have caliber. what can they do.our indian players flopped. so just hoping to make best team possible and make playoffs.players will have to grind.some aussie players are good even if they at far distance. so work hard ,if any players good ,why won't any team will get him.
But I think since the bundle sales for GE were low(just guessing) and India is a huge mkt, riot may have warned GE about this. So doesn't matter Indian or non indian, if they perform insanely good this time, they might go the heretics way. They didnt have much local support earlier compared to other spanish orgs, but after the performancxe their fandom increased
Name me a indian org or owner that will go with indians in franchise?
They gave indian plyrs chance in open tryouts and the plyrs failed to deliver. Is it their fault?
Owner who initially said that he would have gone for Indians in franchise is now investing in other region 🤡🤡

Most of indians audience only watch fe games because they get to see indian org at t1 level. Once ge is out , indian val is done for.
GE isn't an Indian team, but they are an Indian org. As you said its their make or break season.. so they should go all out and get the best possible roster rather than having the Indian quota sytem having a permanent Indian player regardless if there are better players over him.. Criticize them if they perform poorly after that, but tbh this is the best roster cooking they have done since the franchise inception.
Yup agreed, that roster could have been so good, but the issue was that roster was never gonna do well in a stipulated time + there was visa issues in the initial season making it difficult to have an ingame chemistry + texture comms were an issue coz of english+ 7 man roster and rotating it every now and then.. It was doomed to fail+ ge didnt have the budget to hold that roster for a long time.
Not really, it depends on their academy situation. As of right now Indian players are not that good compared to the rest of SEA but if they have promising players on their academy team along with a good coach(probably an import) then imo it's better for the scene since that coach will be able to bring the necessary experience(?) needed in a place where tac-FPS hasn't been a big thing in the past
No one cares bro, our players (80%) are crybabies playing for money and not trophy in VCL, rest who work hard aren't good enough as of yet, don't care will support the team, u guys are just dumb to want an all Indian roster as of rn, and just keeping a singular Indian player just damages the gelling of the team in an overall sense as every region has different people , i will support the team , even an org like KC a fucking brand so big have no french on their team tho u can argue m8 qualified with all french but look how bad they were , but kc fans still support them , why is our fanbase such an L
I don't mind at all if the team competes at a high level and fights for top spots in apac if that happen I will start rooting for them even if there's no Indian player , plus this will motivates Indian players to grind hard if ge performs , so they can be worthy of that spot and there are many EMEA teams like French and Spanish teams who hardly have any representation in terms of their country players and ge will be still India representative just like VIT , KOI are for France and Spain
