I think they intended to bring in Top Teams and likewise promoted it but eventually failed to get those teams to sign up for the event.

"She will probably be the best player" Based on what exactly. Don't think GC is on par with T2 let alone T1.
How do you know they are not? They have just played one map with their new roster. Just because GE beat them doesn't make them automatically bad.
This is a literal off season showmatch let alone a tournament. Who cares lmao.
woah brazil having the biggest japanese community outside of japan is kinda surprising.. is there any particular reason for that?
I got banned for repeated CSGO better than VAL baits. Got unbanned after one and a half years.
bro if he is getting nervous 10 maps straight in a literal offseason tournament do you think it's gonna be any better during the actual season with even higher stakes and scrutiny ?
even on his 'rough day' he was so much better on Neon than whatever agents he played in 5 other maps.
N.B - My previous reply was more of a dig at neon as a broken agent rather than sym. I get it everyone has off days and this is just his first day out with a temporary roster.
any player other than Zekken would have been a downgrade from Jawgemo tbf
all that sym is back threads just to go negative on this map too
nah he would still be decent in T2. maybe not the best but deffo not as bad as people make him to be
SYM was bad for 5 straight maps before the NEON map. We didn't see Oxy on any other agent today to make the same equivalence, could have just been a rough day for him and his team. But for sym you have 6 maps and 3 different agents to come to conclusions from.
no neon is just a broken agent that makes even sym look good
sym being absolute doodooo for 5 whole maps and suddenly owning once on NEON should tell you everything about how broken NEON as an agent is.
Stop making the same "gE faNS cOmE 0 InDIaN TeAM wHY sUpPoRT" thread 50 times a week. If you don't wanna support don't, if you want to then do, stop announcing it to the world and reasoning about it to make others do whatever you're doing. NO ONE CARES!!!
if they don't take action this time they wont be able to ever again for future violations without being accused of inconsistency or favoritism for having turned a blind eye before.
They gave open tryouts to Indian players. Now if they're not good enough that's on them π
Why don't they perform well in ascension then πΏπ
Couldn't confirm if the Lim Jun Hong involved in the 541k scam is the same as the Bleed Investor Lincoln Lim Jun Hong.
Sherlock πΆπ
Why y'all act like GE is the only org out there who has been mid since franchising πΏπ
For people saying keep politics aside. It's a literal war going on there destroying their homes not just some political discourse π
The CEO himself said on Twitter they didn't apply for franchising because they were in between restructuring or something. And instead tried to partner up with GE to get in instead.
I found most of the stuff from reddit. Just compiling them for vlr πΏπ
Who knew reddit users can be of use at times.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/s/MXLKOci4Rb apparently the company Bleed Esports Pvt Ltd got struck off back in 2023 too.
Yeah I added it too in the edit earlier.
GE haters punching the air rn. It could have been them. πΏ
Reddit found the first article, I researched up the second one. πΏπ
Always wondered why they didn't apply for franchising 2 years ago despite the 50 mil dollar investment right before. Seems like they were scared Riot might investigate and find out shady stuff during the application process πΏπ
πΏπ 1 million dollars Contracts RAHHHHHH
50 mil investment down the drain in 2 years πΉπ

" At the nightclub at around 2.25am on Sept 4 in 2022, Lim, together with Mervyn Goh En Wei, allegedly punched, kicked and pushed a woman, resulting in her suffering from injuries."
(ALLEGEDLY THE TWO PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE CRIME ARE SAME AS THE BLEED PEOPLE)
Bleed also got struck off in September 2023 as a registered company :

EDIT : Removed the other report about a 541k scam because I couldn't confirm if the Lim Jun Hong associated with it was the same person as the Bleed Investor Lincoln Lim Jun Hong. Don't wanna ruin the credibility of the thread by mixing up confirmed reports with unconfirmed rumors. π€β
