In text/speech it is very conditional
If it is like with someone important or respected then proper grammar but if it is informal then fuck it we ball

It would matter a lot to you. If it mattered a lot "for" you, you wouldn't be in control of its effect upon you.

Depends a lot on context. Like, how bad is it? Is the situation formal? Are you otherwise fluent in English?

Grammar isn't as important when speaking as long as you use the correct sentence structure. You can improve your grammar just by practicing a conversation with English speaking partner. That's why it's not as important unless you're writing.
