a lot of people are more sceptical of 'super teams' because of NRG 2024 (before FNS). So I was wondering what people think of VIT before going in to next season.
Currently the roster seems like:
Derke
Sayf
Trexx
Less
+1
Huitzilopochtli [#2]im shivering and i dont even have to play them
Depending on the 5th this team has the potential to be better than the 2023 Fnatic superteam (not in terms of results necessarily, just on paper)
This team is either going to be great or the biggest failure ever. Im just worried about all the strong egos on this team namely sayf and less. And I feel like Derke will want certain things to happen his way too since he's been a top player and expects certain things. If they all can get along and on the same page NO ONE is safe for next year. If it doesn't happen then this team will be a disaster.

Yeah I think coaching is going to be vital no pun indented to make sure this team reaches great heights, the best way to stop clashing egos is to stop it before it gets in to the server

Faded has his work cut out for him ngl. And thats another thing. Will the players respect an NA coach who has only coached one year in t2? Can faded demand the respect he needs? lots of things need to go right

finally, i’ve been saying this exact thing because i’m not really a faded believer but i hope he can prove the doubters wrong. Also correction; you don’t demand for respect, you earn it
The potential is there but there are some pretty obvious ways they could flop
Sayf is unreal as a duelist but he hasn’t put on a great performance on other roles since the guild days, solid yeah, but not world class
If less can’t get his English up in time, he isn’t super sociable so it’ll be interesting to see how he adapts to such a different environment
I’m also scared that he and sayf might clash, both have a history of crashing out once divergences arise
I’d be more convinced if they get a proper and established igl, give the team a bit of leadership to suppress potential conflicts but idk anyone good available

thats what i meant mb LOL. But he has to earn it and demand it to a certain degree because with players with Less and Sayf they will most likely always give him less respect that they should. At one point u need to take control and demand some more (after u have earned majority of it)

If he has a good assistant coach or a system like weber and neilzinho then I think things will be much better for them

True. I think Vit has 1-2 good AC's no? plus it will make the transition better for everyone with an AC especially if they already were with Sayf and Trexxx

Yeah the main thing holding me from saying they are 100% winning all 3 events is mostly because idk how Sayf will be on IGL, he is a phenomenal player, but he's simply untested on the IGL role, I'm scared he will end up like scream (maybe to a lower extent). And the second main thing is the ego clash, but I honestly think Less being an import will help that, it is a new environment for him, so there is good room to use that for teambuilding.

100% winning all 3 events
They will win one event max, competition has increased over the years

less is already basically fluent in english, this man dropped the word arsenal casually talking to sacy in english

It's hard to tell as of now, If they win Bankok or Toronto in dominant fashion I think it's possible, but that's like a 5% chance cause you just never know how this kinda stuff will go down. I meant it more as a hyperbole
they are all amazing players but that doesnt make a team good (as we saw with NRG) I think they will fail due too
Unproven/lackluster coach
Mid/bottom tier igl
Role swaps
Ego clashes
Due to VIT being in EMEA they will prob due well (finish upper middle) but if they played in Americas theyd prob finish around 9th

I think 9th is harsh tbh, but yeah I agree they should be on track to be at least a playoff team in EMEA
But I think this is how I would rate these issues from 1-10 (10 being most dire)

they wont finish 9th bro derke less trexx and sayf are still going to be derke less trexx and sayf, prx got worse this year and they still top 3 pacific vit got top 3 and now they have a better roster they either go beyond that, keep their place or get a bit worse at least 5th.

Knowing the words is one thing, being able to communicate properly when you’re in a high pressure scenario where each second count is a whole other can of worms

from everything i've seen, which is basically every single piece of content that exists featuring felipe, his english is great and is easily able to communicate and even hold conversations with people who dont speak portugese
Shuaaaa [#22]Imo it's criminal to not have sayf and/or derke not on duelist, unless chamber becomes meta again.
i think it could work, derke mainly plays raze and yoru and a bit of iso whereas sayf plays mainly jett and neon and they just fill on whatever map they aren't on duelist
