I want to know your favorite team and how/why you became a fan of them.
for me, I am a diehard 100T fan because I grew up in the COD scene as a big Nadeshot/Optic fan and have been following 100T since the very beginning
DelusionalNRGFan [#2]fenis (i forgot my flair is G2 i've liked the guard guys for a long time)

EDG, watching the 2022 East Asia LCQ. I remember staying up one night to watch their game vs Northeption, second map went like 40 rounds. I saw the way they played, and it reminded me a lot of PRX. And KK's player cams used to be hilarious, he'd just be screaming at the camera lmao. Really happy to see how far they've come since then.

he put me onto john denver
yoooo I was a mega chap, 72hrs, vivid + poach fan
All Gamers initially caught my attention because they signed the Attacking Soul Esports core and coach, who I was already a big fan of. I started enjoying watching them play because you could see a clear effort from them to improve in aspects of their fundamentals and macro, which resulted in gradually better results and placements. Not only were they fun to see get better, but they also just were inherently fun to watch whenever they were on a heater. Their Sunset comeback against TEC is one of my favorite moments of the season.
Similar to #16 EDG from 2022 East Asia LCQ, converted from CR (allat + rant).
CR:
I followed CR from 2019 from fortnite takamuramm -> ruri. Fast forward to valorant I watched First Strike Japan 2020 after they signed bakemon core + neth from blackbird ignis + trial intr0 (guy played for 11 teams now). The rivalry of CR + Absolute jupiter was amazing back then. After CR loss in champs 21, they obtain 3 players of the talented northeption LCQ roster (seoldam, astell, meiy, sugarz3ro, TENNN). Astell and meiy joins main roster whilst SEOLDAM (korean jett) joins as a STREAMER playing apex all the time. Bazzi was removed start of 2022 and munchkin left after stage 1. With astell the 1 import, surely they finally add Seoldam to the roster right? They added popogachi, neth nepotism teammate from blackbird ignis that got disbanded from 2021......while Seoldam during the importance of stage 2 was ATTENDING AND COMPETING ON APEX SHOWMATCHES ONLINE AND ON LAN. CR on 2022 too focused on apex with Ras and completely neglect their valo roster after beating Absolute jupiter in 2021 and making internarionals. ZETA and Northeption made the turney in 2022 and it shows lack of care CR did for their valo roster....
EDG
East Asia LCQ on 12th August had 3 matches, 12pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm. CR played low bracket elimination against On2S (bazzi on this team), rather than being upset CR eliminated, I was glad Bazzi got his revenge on this team for releasing him. 4:30pm match was EDG vs Northeption, winner goes to Grand FInal. EDG won 1st map and as for map 2, the score goes to 21-19. The way of EDG play at the time was incredible, aim on point, great team play and always trading converting to man advantage. It was like watching army of ants with amazing coordination. After CR elimination on game 1, without any hesitation what so ever I start supporting EDG that day and been supporting since.
additional note: when seoldam signed to DFM, I was a massive hater hoping he perform bad for choosing apex over valo at the time. He said he was taking break from competing, but he was playing apex on LAN turney (showmatch). Seoldam performing bad in VCT 23 is an example of Karma, but eventually I do feel bad when he finally gets released. When he signed to riddle, I decided to support him again cause this time he works his way to VCT, not ditching CR and joins DFM as now I already support a new team EDG and feel no more attachment to CR. Hope riddle wins Ascension and look forward to seeing him back on VCT.
I support EDG, but for pacific I support T1.
