This is probably normal to yall but as someone who is first time experiencing a new agent as I'm new to valorant I'm really excited. I've been holding on my points for ages now to make sure I can unlock her as soon as she gets out. Just hoping for a balanced agent at least. Wouldn't want something broken or straight up useless.

Neon was fairly balanced, kind of niche in pro play. People pretty much just played her on fracture when she came out.

With all the theoris going around that her ult might be about disableing the use of weapons (or that's what I understood at least) it could be broken.

It all depends on how they apply it not on what it does imo. There's already agents that do that and they're not necessarily broken

Honestly, now that I think about it, I'm all for a broken agent, wanna expereince that lol. I've only read and seen/watched some clips about chamber or astra at release and it looked fun as hell.

Just a heads up, they usually use exp to unlock a new agent for 30 something days, points can only be used after that period.

got some bad news for you:
to unlock a new agent you have to get XP (which means playing for your dailies and weeklies) or cough up money.
you can't use kindgom credits until 2 weeks after :P

I have time, finished all uni exams early, as long is it's not a ridiculously long grind I'll have her in a jimmy. I don't fancy spending money on this game, yet.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you have to unlock new agents through xp and not kingdom points when they 1st come out. You have to complete weekly quests and stuff to get enough xp to unlock them.
