The victim confirmed to me(dms) that the alleged perpetrator qualified for Valorant Champions 2024.
Not looking good
IonlywatchvcjXD [#9]It's kinda weird that the victim suddenly messages you
i’d assume butterfly effect messaged her.
laifu [#8]She already stated that the player was in the Lower Finals of the APAC playoffs and they played for DRX so not really an update on this horrible situation
wouldn't it most likely be flashback
thisisjustforpickems [#13]wouldn't it most likely be flashback
the way I see it
It was flashback, but they’re still just allegations. I hope they’re false but we can’t know for certain either way.
thisisjustforpickems [#13]wouldn't it most likely be flashback
i mean. all things point to him and nobody else
laifu [#8]She already stated that the player was in the Lower Finals of the APAC playoffs and they played for DRX so not really an update on this horrible situation
all she said was the player was in a lower finals of some esport
Ballsamolee [#16]all she said was the player was in a lower finals of some esport
she confirmed that the player is from Valorant
lielahh [#14]the way I see it
It was flashback, but they’re still just allegations. I hope they’re false but we can’t know for certain either way.
Oh no, this is starting to look like another situation we have seen before....
unknown_trash [#18]Oh no, this is starting to look like another situation we have seen before....
My best hope is that whoever is accused cooperates with investigation, as whoever was accused is a minor by Korean law they might be okay depending on the processing and findings.
merciless-pity8989-89 [#20]Check her recent tweets, she basically just confirmed it was him without saying his name
yeah it's mad likely atp
These are serious allegations, but did the incident happen recently or a long time ago before the player joined DRX?
I'm not blaming the victim but if it happened a long time ago, why wasn't the issue brought up and addressed back then, and only during the crucial moment when DRX qualified for champions? I feel bad not only for the victim, but also the org and other DRX members for potentially losing one of their best chances of winning champions
AvgRossiFan [#24]I dont get her intent, why not make everything public, name and shame, let an investigation happen involve the law enforcement if necessary
imo whats happening right now doesnt help anyone
Korean defamation laws are the cause I’ve heard cited but not certain on this

Because, as the victim said, he "cheated on her"

thenutoriousPRO [#25]what are the allegations
the allegation is that a Korean tier-1 Valorant player had sex with a girl, non-consensually ejaculated inside of her and cheated on her afterwards
ButterflyEffect23 [#22]yeah it's mad likely atp
not even mad likely, She straight up said “he’s the same age as me”. There’s only 1 person that matches that description, she’s 06 and he’s 05, her birthday passed last month and his didn’t yet. That literally narrows it down to 1 person
lielahh [#26]Korean defamation laws are the cause I’ve heard cited but not certain on this
Korean defamation laws are indeed crazy from what I've seen. Even if everything you're saying is true and can be proven to be true, you can still be sued for harming someone's reputation.
Totta [#27]Because, as the victim said, he "cheated on her"
Are you implying that it was consensual and she is getting revenge? Either way she was a minor so that player should not be defended.
I just felt like if it was SA it should have been reported to the police during the time of incidence.

Wasn't flashback counted as minor too?
Like it was consensual too.
KClaw [#34]Bruh not saying in offence but like why would the victim confirm to u in dms , like are u some kind of online famous journalist or something for her to say anything to u
I reached out myself and asked the question
KClaw [#34]Bruh not saying in offence but like why would the victim confirm to u in dms , like are u some kind of online famous journalist or something for her to say anything to u
yesterday she said she opened up her dms for ppl to message her. He prolly asked and she replied
ButterflyEffect23 [#29]the allegation is that a Korean tier-1 Valorant player had sex with a girl, non-consensually ejaculated inside of her and cheated on her afterwards
yikes, if sinatraa got slammed by unproven allegations, wonder what this guy will get.
Utolevia [#33]Are you implying that it was consensual and she is getting revenge? Either way she was a minor so that player should not be defended.

It wouldnt hurt as much as she does it now, when DRX JUST qualified for champ
She should have all the evidence ready, so it doesnt really matter late or not (he probably banged his way to consensual, till he cheated)
Selex [#32]Korean defamation laws are indeed crazy from what I've seen. Even if everything you're saying is true and can be proven to be true, you can still be sued for harming someone's reputation.
Korean defamation laws are crazy for sure and here's the tweet about this from the victim herself -
https://x.com/csqix66/status/1816121666927562972?t=67iXVSfK8CqJ_L93_m0h3g&s=19
she states that she's at the disadvantage in this situation
merciless-pity8989-89 [#30]not even mad likely, She straight up said “he’s the same age as me”. There’s only 1 person that matches that description, she’s 06 and he’s 05, her birthday passed last month and his didn’t yet. That literally narrows it down to 1 person
Am i missing something, the age of consent in Korea is 16 afaik, is this something that happened some 2 or so years ago?
EseemedRes1180 [#39]Can't drx sue you for defamation. You information is going on multiple pages like tactical rab. Be careful i heard korean laws are super strict when it comes to this
thanks for your concern!
I don't live in Korea, so it doesn't matter really
Totta [#40]It wouldnt hurt as much as she does it now, when DRX JUST qualified for champ

She could've just reported him back then and the player wouldn't even have had a pro career in vlr to begin with. DRX could've found a proper 5th man and hopefully still qualify for champs.
ButterflyEffect23 [#29]the allegation is that a Korean tier-1 Valorant player had sex with a girl, non-consensually ejaculated inside of her and cheated on her afterwards
because his pull out game was weak he might lose his career
LouBag [#46]because his pull out game was weak he might lose his career
Did both of them even talked about this before going at it?
AvgRossiFan [#42]Am i missing something, the age of consent in Korea is 16 afaik, is this something that happened some 2 or so years ago?
they are only separated by 7 or 8 months in age.
The allegation seems to align more with sexual negligence rather than rape. It would be borderline SA at the very worst
Utolevia [#45]She could've just reported him back then and the player wouldn't even have had a pro career in vlr to begin with. DRX could've found a proper 5th man and hopefully still qualify for champs.
Tbf we dont really know the timeline of all this, how long this has been going on or when the cheating actually happened, but its ultimately her choice to do it now so i can only rationalize from that
Number_1_Sheydos_Fan [#51]So it was flashback unlucky for drx he was quite good, hope he rots in jail tho
bro you're wild
ncahlil [#53]The fact that the org itself has not released a statement whether its true or not to clear things up is really concerning
maybe they're still looking for a substitution idk
merciless-pity8989-89 [#49]they are only separated by 7 or 8 months in age.

It's not rape ig, atleast from what I can conclude from all of her tweets

no plsss... not my goat 💔💔😭😭😭😭

nvm
Verlisien [#55]Are there actual repercussions for this? The drx player would only look like an asshole with weak pull out game and probably pay for some damages. What are the chances of him getting dropped?
I hope the victim is physically and mentally fine after all this tho
the victim said that she's doing fine and everything is good at this moment
idk about possible repercussions for the alleged perpetrator. probably he'll get cut?
highlyte [#60]I'm afraid that even if all this turns out to be a lie, Flashback's reputation will be so ruined that this may be the only thing we remember about it
sounds familiar
highlyte [#60]I'm afraid that even if all this turns out to be a lie, Flashback's reputation will be so ruined that this may be the only thing we remember about it
yeah, his career flashback is not gonna look good

if drx dont come out with a statement in the next couple of days., they might try to sweep this whole thing under the rug. However, the situation feels viral enough to make the champions stage awkward during drx matches

This is the tweet from the girl saying she is 19 (the post is dated May 23rd, 2024). So she would be underage (<18) latest somewhere in early 2023. Going by this tweet alone, if the allegations by the time they were 17 is true, the whole debacle would have happened last year no? Whatever happened, if true, was wrong, very wrong. But if it happened last year, this certainly is an interesting time to bring it up, right?

No issues whatsoever legally unless the victim has got actual proof but the perpetrator if identified as the player mentioned then they will definitely be dropped as riot is very sensitive about these issues

The way I see it, it is just an act of revenge rather than actually getting justice

Even if it's true, the law exists because he should be punished legally, not lynched.
jojo57 [#69]Even if it's true, the law exists because he should be punished legally, not lynched.
Naw. It's just a fucking dumb law, especially removing it from this context/type of case. Not every scenario where you're gonna be sued for defamation involves potential criminal activity by an individual.
