I've observed for a while that this game "encourages" smurfing. Even streamers do that.
Last example that I've seen was Tarik playing on an asc 1 account with Nadeshot. Also somehow my YT feed is polluted with "Road to radiant using gun X/Y", and many of the matches in those videos are on diamond 1 max. Why does this game allow this BS?
I even have friends/acquittances that play on many accounts depending on whom they are playing with.
Valve for example banned many dota 2 pro players smurf accounts. There, the pros were playing with smurf accs to not wait 15+ mins in queue for a game, and even those smurfs were max 1 rank below their main (in Dota max rank is immortal with ELO, and many were either Divine 5, aka prev rank before Immo, or low ELO immortal).
Why isn't RIOT baning streamers that are smurfing?

See I don't think they're lying at all when they say they make these changes to deal with smurfing.
But from me playing I think smurfing is still at the same level if not worse
I wish this had more eyes on it. Its incredible that smurfing accounts then go on to complain about the quality of their teammates. I noticed tarik had to hold back from shit talking his two teammates that weren’t comming as much. It’s ridiculous to smurf and expect high quality players. Maybe not even high quality but players that aren’t necessarily as invested as you
