Sova on Sunset

Do you guys fw sova on sunset in VCT, I think it's soooo mid. I'd take fade/kayo/gekko above him.

Also sidenote, can NRG change their sunset comp it's painful to watch.

Nah Sova can be good on Sunset, it's just how you use him that matters.

sova solo initiator? nope

Most the cn teams run sova on sunset and like its ok at countering cypher but fade is better at everything else whilst being ok against cypher too with prowlers so unless you have some specific ideas you need sova for I think fade should be the better pick

I don't know it just doesn't feel like a sova map, I think teams would get a lot more value out of a fade or a kayo and u still destroy traps

ofcourse , but like ethan is a world champ and nobody would call solo skye and jett a "good comp" on that map.

I think sova is good as a solo initiator if you are trying to run viper omen on sunset. Also sova helps destroy sova trips on attack and shocks are good for postplant on B. On defense sova is also good for getting early information or using dart or drone to retake control of the map or clear mid.

Since it's a close quarter map, I don't think you get much value out of the dart early round. I can only think of 2 good darts on that map: default A, and mid, on the other hand there's like 4 goated kayo knives for early info. Also while I do think the drone is fine, on maps like sunset with no verticality, a fade dog would still clear areas well, or even a skye dog, faster too.
