yes hes not playing at the level he should be, but why? we saw moments of greatness, his potential is evident, he just seems uncomfortable rn. obviously there is the role change which may contribute but theres also the language barrier, idk how good the rest of bleeds english is. what i do know is that he CAN and WILL get back to the level hes supposed to be at. yay will shock the world in vct 2024. come talk to me when bleed is champs winner and yay champs mvp.

Yay, Deryeon and Egoist are all fluent 1st language English speakers. English is one of the national languages of Singapore and everyone speaks it fluently (though they may speak Singlish which might be a little hard for Yay to understand). Crazyguy is also very fluent so around 90% and has played on international teams numerous times.

The only player who isn't fluent is sScary but he's had alot of time to gel with the team now and work on his English. This isn't a language barrier issue.

i didnt know this, maybe the singlish is hard to understand. idk if it was just me but it seemed like yay wasnt on the same page as the team, could also be the role issues

The team definitely has some communication issues since you can see Deryeon satchel in without any supporting util numerous times and then expect someone to push through a smoke to trade him. However, while their game looked sloppy, Yay also just looked lost in general. He never really got great lurk timings nor impact and every time they attacked site with him he was either the first or second to die. Even his defensive half on Jett looked pretty bad but I'm happy he managed to pull it back on the attack at least a little bit.

Yeah I think he is just very unconfident right now. C9 broke him, hopefully he gets his mojo back. He started very poorly in Optic's 2022 season as well.
