mfs are making petitions LMFAO
zen-o [#3]13 matches a year is wild, i play more in one night deranking from diamond to silver
you play 26 - 39 games in one night?
Lilxcr [#5]People gotta stop hating on Leo Faria
cant wait to lose 3 matches and never play a match again for the entire season
vispri [#7]cant wait to lose 3 matches and never play a match again for the entire season
All good, u still got the second international league to play through. Also unless the group you are in is crazy stacked, if you managed to lose 3 matches in your own group, you probably weren't making it to an international event anyways. I do agree with you tho that the format is kinda wierd.
Ballsamolee [#2]theyre out for blood 😭
when are people going to realise that organising the professional scene of a rapidly growing esport in the 2nd year of franchise with a whole new region is not that goddamn easy
mofos be watching valorant for FREE and complaining
There are changes underway for 2025

Its a 4 year old game, they should have “fixed” it last year
zen-o [#14]Its a 4 year old game, they should have “fixed” it last year
it’s not a problem with the game, it’s a problem with the franchising system those are completely separate issues

agreed...i feel like we should wait for 2025

Weak minded fools like you are the reason we haven't as a society progressed further. They did the worse job at handling this Esports scene than i've ever seen, yet there will always be clowns like you twerking and saying "YoU dOn'T rEaLiSe hOw HaRd iT iS"
I know for a fact you're clown ass is an Elon Musk fanboy irl

Did bro just compare running an esports division of a video game to the progression of society?? I agree with the fact that Leo faria has done a horrible job, but it's really not that serious. And yes, it is quite difficult to run an esports division of a video game to an extent. It's like running a business. There are many factors to consider and appeasing everyone could mean that they might not make a profit or it just might not be possible to do. The issue isn't the lack of response to feedback, its the lack of transparency from the side of Leo faria and his team. If he could explain why changes aren't being made despite the whole community asking for it, then it would make a lot more sense. That is where I think he has gone wrong. He's been too vague and has not given reasoning behind his decisions. If he did, then either someone could point the flaws in his choices out and then the team can respond to feedback, or people would understand. The lack of that either means that his motives are not right when he makes decisions, or he doesn't know what he's doing. And if transparency was there, then we would know that.

They themselves have said that 2024 would be chaotic. And they're looking forward to 2025 being one of the best years since everything would be locked in with the China region
zen-o [#14]Its a 4 year old game, they should have “fixed” it last year
or they run such big events that they usually have to plan a year or two in advance? and of those 4 years, there is realistically only 2.5 years to actually learn from

yes i know but some people just dont have enough patience...also that "less number of games' narrative is stupid, why would i watch DFM playing 30 matches and going 0-30 at the end of the year?

Just because you don't want to watch doesn't mean no one else wants to.
Also just because of a few bottom tier teams playing bad you're ready to sacrifice the entire league matches for a shorter format?

Yessirskiiii your VLR.gg 24/7 no job bronze ranked ass has absolutely no right to be talking about contributing to society 😂😂😂😂
Aquemini [#22]How dare people ask this mf to do his job well. Unthinkable
it’s not about doing a job “well” it’s about setting realistic expectations and not getting pissy when you can’t get a perfectly functioning product in year 2
extan [#33]it’s not about doing a job “well” it’s about setting realistic expectations and not getting pissy when you can’t get a perfectly functioning product in year 2
dude in any job in the world fucking up something two whole years in a row would get your ass fired and possibly sued. I dont undestand why the people on the internet are so determined on defending billion dollars companies delivering a bad product and fuckin up a whole ecosystem of esports. Like they literally have the example of the cs esports scene and the league one but for some reason they decided "nah we are just gonna make a shit system, fuck you all".

like your job requires the level of planning and manpower than running a thriving esports league does 😂
it’s not about “defending the billion dollar company” it’s not flaming people doing their best and setting unrealistic expectations that can’t physically get met in year 2
the people crying about not having year long valorant are just spoilt

They built League esports, they’re no strangers to the franchise model, there is a decade of franchised esports to learn from. But making bad decisions for 2.5 years much to community discontent and making a bad one for 2024 (13 matches a year? Really) is horrible for the players and viewers.
