Sayf was far more important on a team who reached much more

+1 Zekken's raw mechanics are the some of the best in NA, but I'm waiting for him to fill the shoes as Sen's star duelist.
Zekken cause America was just WAY more stacked than EMEA throughout 2023. All due respect, but outside of Fnatic (and Navi who basically lost every map 13-11 or OT) there were not really strong teams.

Tbh, I think it's a lot closer than people think. Both are extremely good and are very valuable to their teams. That being said, I think zekken has a slight edge in the fact that he still performed really well despite being a team that was struggling and going through roster changes. I feel like Sayf has had a higher peak thus far, but zekken is just extremely reliable and IMO he has more potential than Sayf. It's really hard to pick between the two though, can't go wrong with either of them.
