I will have the hottest take in the world here. Mcdonalds fries aren't that good. They're over seasoned. I want everyone who thinks im wrong to take me on. Idgaf if ur obese or skinny as a stick. Here is another hot take. I think Sushi tastes like shit. Why would u want wet seaweed because it's been right next to rice. It makes my mind boggle. Seaweed should always be nice and cranchy and salty. And no I don't get those seaweed snacks things. Those are disgusting. I personally Just enjoy putting rice on top and putting some spicy beef on top and eating it quickly so that the seaweed doesn't go soggy. Fight me.
Overrated: Ramen; anime overhypes how good ramen really is. It's a good noodle dish definitely, but there are far better versions from similar east asian culinary.
Underrated: Pho maybe or Chinese mapo tofu/dougan; Pho is really good noodle dish but tedious as crap because of how the soup is made. As for Chinese tofu and dougan, I find it weird that it isn't as popular as it should be considering how simple it is yet flavors that never fail to surprise me.
Edit: I also think that Bubble Tea is incredibly overrated. It's a great drink originating from my home country, but I think westeners inflate how great this drink really tastes. Sure there are variations to it, but it really isn't anything spectacular in my honest opinion.

As for factual correctness, no people do not normally eat dogs; it's a 1/10 chance you find someone who eats dogs. Homeless people on the street resort to eating dogs and slaughtering them because that is all there is to eat. Culturally, it is very uncommon to find this sort of habit of eating dogs.
I might be of taiwanese descent, but your statement is incorrect on many levels.
I do know that, a lot of VN cuisine originates from CN, I'm not denying it. From my personal experience however, I've seen ppl eating dogs and to me it's common. It's normal. No joke

I think sushi is good, but I can't eat it every day, it's definitely a good meal to eat occasionally
